Haiku: a Japanese poetic form that uses three lines and has five sylables for lines one and three, and seven for line two. But I've read a lot of haiku that broke those rules, especially by American writers. Ever read Pomes All Sizes by Jack Kerouac? For the puritst, there is no apology offered. Enjoy it for what the poem and related image says to you.
