Main Mothership
Ark. (or some would call it: The Ark or L'Ark) has a broader technological
advance than the rest of EES' motherships (Narnia, Cast, and Liberty), though Ark was architected by
the same team. The team was lead by Professor Winarov
Nobero and his associate, Doctor Aine Steinizbec. As the main mothership, Ark established a strong Local Area
Network with the other ships. Hard to believe, Ark has a sad history
behind the selection process in becoming the main mothership.
Professor Nobero
and Doctor Steinizbec's team built
Ark for the EES. She was a beautiful and elegant combat vessel prototype. The team built the
next three motherships with the same advanced technology. But back then,
EES hasn't even has a place in HMS' smallest corner of attention. It
seemed a high-tech force which was engineered and managed by brilliant
hippies/scientiests with four flying motherships isn't enough to steal
HMS' interest. The last resort to do so was upgrading the Ark, which was
as effective as shouting in a vacuumed space. Though its name is Earth Elite Sentinel, EES doesn't have
the supremacy to carry out its main duty as Earth's elite sentinel. Earth was guarded by Earth Armed
Force (EAF), HMS' prime attention. When Selcaro attacked Earth, EAF had a blast with its weapons
storage. But Selcaro only suffered minor injuries, and became more
irritated. Finally, EES came into the scene. First, the peaceloving
hippies/scientists were subjected to attack the Kaiju with their most
advanced laser cannon. Ark was the only mothership which has the biggest
power storage, and so Ark was the one to do the job. Narnia, Cast, and
Liberty helped Ark with power transfer. But the offensive tactic didn't
work. Of course, Selcaro was hurt badly, but it turned out that Selcaro
has rapid healing ability. While Selcaro is gaining energy, EES team is
loosing energy. Finally, EES realized that war doesn't have to be violent.
And so, the high commanders of EES had an emergency assembly in Ark's
meeting room. The decision was shocking, yet they all agreed. Then, Ark
with its wings stored with positive energy, beamed the Kaiju with New Age
Aura. It succeeded! Selcaro was soon posed into a yoga position and
humming peacefully.
While Earth's
populations cheered and partying along with HMS high board, EES had a
great loss. It turned out that professor Nobero had suffered fatal
injury caused by the cheerful commotion (the medical reported too much
alcoholic substances in his blood -probably that explained why he jumped
from 40th floor of HMS headquarter's building). After a five days coma,
the great professor left, carrying his great ideas to his grave. Ark's
final hope was Doctor Steinizbec to carry out Professor Nobero's masterplan.
But on the burial day, the most trusted associate fellow of Professor
Nobero was missing! Doctor Steinizbec
was last reported seen walking towards the Ark's Laboratory unit. The
Doctor's electro i.d. tag was found on Laboratory's floor, but no sight
of the owner. It took exactly, 35 tireful days for the High Commander
Council to announced another lost of a great scientist.
The
grief from the lost of two main schollars were to massive. Plans to upgrade the other three motherships were postponed to indefinite time. The EES
High Commander Council always
answered that it was too revoking if they tried to upgrade the other motherships. And so, because Ark has the most advanced technology than the
Narnia, Cast, and Liberty, Ark was dubbed as the Main Mothership. Not
until a pack of young scientists joined EES and became members of high
chiefs in command to bring fresh spirit into the ailing EES, no upgrade was made.

What is a mothership without a main
operational team? This team is packed with sufficient members with the
highest talents in their fields. Ark has ten Main Operational Team
(MOT) members. Each with their own fields of work.
Regardless the name of
Operational Team, this team isn't just operating The Ark. This team is the
core of Ark's rapid decision. They are the think tank of Ark. Through the
power the Commander In Charge has, the rest of the team gave their own
perspective evaluations. But that is not the only reason why MOT is
considered as the team behind the Ark's continous success.

Commander in charge :
code name C.J.
N ot
much have been known about this brilliant commander/scientist. EES' official
records only stated C.J.'s rank and above standard independence in
commanding the Ark. C.J. is a cheerful leader and also a witty companion. Some
would say that C.J. is a little eccentric. C.J.'s only flaw is
invisibility (but Lieutenant Commander Qin would probably disagree).
None of the official records noted about the background history of
C.J.'s invisibility. Rumor has it that C.J. went through a major accident in one
of EES' experiments. Another has it that C.J. purposedly did the
experiment in C.J.'s own preference. By the resolution of EES' Council
of High Commanders, C.J. has to wear a jacket to help
people know where he is at the moment. |

Lieutenant Commander Hajime Okano.
His military codename is Qin. He
is one of the top ranking officers in the EES, and an excellent
marksman. Qin is C.J.'s right hand person and commonly seen beside
him. Near the beginning he is almost lost in bewilderment when he
found out that he was transfered into a ship which has an eccentric
commander as the highest rank officer. Luckily, his thoughtful
character has enable him to understand C.J.'s habit better than the
rest of the team. In fact, he is the only person who is later seen
able to deflect C.J.'s practical jokes and patterned his commander's
abnormalities. |

Dr. Tatyana Singh
Her military alias is the Artificial Neuron because she always said
that her ingenious came from a surgical process. Nevertheless, Tatyana
is one of Ark's valuable crews. Her quick thinking and vast knowledge
has granted her a position as Ark's human tissue data installer. She
controlled every datum which was transfered into L'Arc Rangers' chips.
She knew exactly what had been installed and what need to be installed
in several circumstances. That knowledge has
made her as L'Arc Rangers' chaperon. |

First Lieutenant Seamus O'neill
Called the Unlucky because
of on-going abuse of little accidents. He always showed up in Inner
Core with a bit of scratch here and there. And sometimes, he tripped
or bumped into Inner Core's interior panels. Miraculously, those
accidents vanished as soon as he took control of Ark's flight
control panel. He is a brilliant scientist and pilot. He seems to
have interest with Tatyana and sometimes dared his uncooperative luck to ask
her out. No one could ever match up his unrequited love. He always tells Peter Svenson about his secret crush. |
|
|
|
Lieutenant Major Paddy Hadamitzky
A man who thoroughly enjoys
excitement and handles Ark's weapon systems. He is absolutely
obsessed with his stamp collection and will commonly shove his
collection albums into other people's faces. This man is a very
cheerful fellow and always take everything with a big smile. Though his stature is almost as round
as a ball, he is -suprisingly- very swift
in movement. |
|
|
|
Fighter Captain Peter Svenson
A quiet person, level-headed, and a great fighter pilot.
He was part of the investigation department of the military before
transfered to the Ark. He is now handle Ark's surveillance division.
His place in the Inner Core -Ark's main control room- right next to
Seamus O'neill, has made him as Seamus' love life journal. |

Major Shanty Devi
Ark's chief staff of defense. She was born in planet Pluto and moved
to Earth by the age of 13. Her plutonian white skin and inability to
adapt strong beam of light are gradually disappear as she settled in
Earth. She is a very mysterious and closed person. She often mutters
about ghastly life forms which nobody else in the Inner Core could
see. She claimed that she could
sense C.J.'s present though the commander is not wearing the
trademark jacket and see C.J.'s facial
feature vaguely if she take a close look. She kept C.J.'s facial
feature to herself.

Counsellor Matahari
She came from a minor nation in Earth's 4514 coordinate.
She is a hardworking person, in fact she's a work-a-holic.
Her track-record goes all the way back in becoming one of EHM's
Consulate. At that time, she realized how EHM
had overlooked her nation just because of her nation's minor power, and she must
work very hard to actually have the EHM High Board members to consider her in
the same
level as the other consulates. After her transfer to Ark, she developed a strong
reputation of excellent negotiatior and gained respect from the EHM High Board.
She is also the Ark's translator and one of C.J.'s most trusted
person. |
|
|
 |
Fighter
Captain Gus Rienne
She is Peter Svenson's
fighter partner. Gus is a natural Kaiju expert.
Her broad knowledge of Kaiju is
used as basic analyzing tool. She has lost his family in Kaiju
Selcaro's attack. But she does not seek avenge against the Kaiju. She
knew that L'ard Rangers are the ones to be captured. And she will trust
all her might to C.J. to seize the L'ard Rangers. |
|
|
 |
Major Matt Rhyss
He is good at chess and is one of
the people who follows C.J. submissively. Matt is a kind man who cares for animals and
everyone else. At one point he brings a portable salt-water aquarium
tank, complete with a baby californian seal into mothership
Narnia and hilarity ensures. He is rarely seen in the Inner
Core, because he is in charge of the power room, but sometimes he would visit
C.J. and have a game of chess. So far, none have beat him in the game. |

Rangers fighter craft :
The Nepenthes
This fighter craft engineered by the same scientists who developed the
Arc, but as the original architect disappeared, it was remastered by
L'Arc Rangers' initiator, C.J.. The mastermind gave the name
Nepenthes to the craft. No one knew the reason. Nepenthes is specially
designed for L'Arc Rangers and formed from their XIG fighterwings. It
is navigated by the four rangers with The Ark as their earth console.
Nepenthes can transfrom into Ranger Mecha, a combat robot. Though
Ranger Mecha is rarely stated in reports, but from the popularity of
the merchandise, we believe that the robot is very powerful as well as
popular. |

Rangers fighterwings: XIG
The four XIG fighters are the epitomize of each ranger. The name of
each XIG corresponds to its characterization.
XIG Eien
is piloted by the rangers' team leader, Ranger Red.
Eien has the aptitude of fast manouvers as well as offense weaponry.
In dogfight battles, it is the fighterwing which gave commands for the
other XIG to form Nepenthes of not.
XIG Kaze is navigated by Ranger Purple. The XIG specializes in
speed and has the depiction of warm wind. The warm wind is actually
the combustion of its hi-jet thruster. In XIG form, Kaze has the
reputation of mistifying XIG, since its high speed could make the
enemies miscalculated their visualization.
XIG Kokyu
is controlled by Ranger Chocolate. This XIG is loaded
with weapon system for the Nepenthes. It is also has the high ability
of fast manouvers, it specialization is the ability to detect enemies'
weaponries and offense system.
XIG Jyuu is Ranger Blue's fighterwings. It is upgraded by its pilot
to become the core mainframe which interconnected the other XIG
fighters. In Nepenthes formation, XIG Jyuu initiated the assembling of
the other three computer mainframe into one major control panel and
placed a control room in its core, where the rangers took control of
the craft. |
