Work Experience
- Environmental Policy Intern � Working for an independent economics research organization, researching regulation and the environmental and social concerns related to genetically modified trees. Assisting the director of the organization�s Forest Economics and Policy Program on his Mellon Fellowship. Energy and Natural Resources division at Resources for the Future (RFF), Washington, DC, Current.
- Women�s Studies Department Assistant � Responsibilities included preparing for events (involved setting up, serving food, assisting guests, and clean up), receiving telephone calls, reviewing library material, posting flyers, and organizing and grading class assignments. Berea College, Spring 2002.
- Agriculture Department Laboratory Assistant � worked at Berea College�s educational farms and greenhouse. Responsibilities included assisting in the college�s 5-acre gardens and caring for their livestock (chickens, geese, pigs, cattle, sheep, and goats). Fall 2001
- Eco-Justice Intern � worked on a 4-acre organic garden for a 45 member CSA. Responsibilities included planning and distributing member shares, and harvesting, planting, and weeding in gardens. Also trained, fed, and helped manage 24 alpacas. White Violet Center for Eco-Justice, St. Mary of the Woods, IN. Summer 2001
- Woodcraft Assistant � worked at Berea College�s Craft Program. Responsibilities included drilling, shaping, and sanding wood to be made into games and furniture. August 2000-May 2001
