| Hello & welcome to my little home on the WWW! Thank you for stopping by! Please allow me to introduce myself .... My name is Renee & I recently moved to Dublin, Virginia, from Houston, Texas, via Shreveport, Louisiana. I am the oldest of 6 kids (3 girls/3 boys), ranging in age from 42 to 35. I am the mother of two (a son-James, 22, & a daughter-Taryn, 18). I am soon going to be a first-time grandmother to a set of fraternal twins that are due on March 1, 2005 (but they will probably be here a whole lot sooner). I was married for 10-1/2 years and have been divorced for almost 13 years. I am currently living in a domestic partnership with my partner of the past four years. I am a femme lesbian, so if this bothers you, please don't preach to me about how wrong this is ... because I have heard it all before! I am who I am ... So, if you don't agree, let's just say that we "agree to disagree". I'm not a horrible person, & I am one of the most caring people you would ever want to meet. The reason I started this website is so that I might be able to help others. I live with a disease called Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS, for short). I have had this horrible disease since 1992 (or probably earlier than that) and, because the disease is totally misunderstood by the medical community, I was undiagnosed for almost 12 years. I was finally able to put a name to this disease in 2004, but I want to share my experiences with you & hopefully guide you some places on the internet where you can get more information & possibly some support. In addition to the HS, I have several other ailments that maybe I can help someone by sharing my experiences with those as well. Because I utilize the internet to my advantage in finding information, I am going to include several links to those websites that I know have some really good and useful information. I am going to make this a little fun ... I am going to include little snippets of my life, my family, and life in general. I enjoy surfing the internet for interesting stuff & will try to include some of my favorite spots in this site as well. So ..... I invite you to sit back, ENTER & have a look around!
