So this is the Very Short version Ok *clears throat* Lara Croft is an adventurous achraelogist whose huge mansion and butler hide that the fact that she's a fearless tomb raider and that she misses her father, Lord Richard Croft who's been missing for many years. Assisted by her butler, Hillary and techno guru, Bryce, Lara repeatedly hones her many physical skills and abilities. All of that comes in handy when she discovers a rare key-based clock in a secrect compartment in a sataircase. that Is wanted by our bad guys, the Illuminatii. She goes to her old antiques expert, Wilson(How is part of the Illuminati and gets beheaded....:S) He then sends her to see Manfred Powell , a ruthless lawyer who's also a member of a powerful, secret society that's awaiting a rare planetary alignment that will offer the holder of two previously separated halves of a mystical stone triangle unlimited power over time. In short, the Ilumminatii. Lara soon learns that her key will unlock the mysteries and whereabouts of those missing halves, a point that hasn't gone unnoticed by Powell who's sent his armed team to retrieve it, in her house...while in the middle of her bungee ballet. s Much as she tries, Lara barley misses saving the clock. Receiving a communiqu� from her late father, Lara deciphers his clues and thus sets out for Cambodia, To a Temple in Angkor Wat. Here she encounters Alex West(Surprise surprise!) and MAnfread Powell....again. After a swinign column, Mecuray urns, Stone monkeys, 8 foot swords, Hyrogliphics, Giant golden Buddas and Heaps of bullets, Lara manages to escape with the peoce..barley, bu the clock is know in the hands(then again it was before) of Powell. They are usless with out each other now, they need each others clues. Powell meets Lara in Illuminatii headquatres in Veince, and he spills all about the illuminatii..and her father. All about how he used to be the right hand man, untill Powell killed him. He suggess a partner ship, the elience of good and evil...of course she said NO! Anyway, Lara ends up on a trip across Iceland to the Temple where the second peoce is hidden. using helicopters, 'ducks' and dogsleds. They arive, and LAra finds the way in. The room has a girant Orrey in the middle of a pool of hot water. Now, WHERE IN THE WORLD IS THAT SECOND PEICE? While they are climbing about the Orrey, the final stage or the eliment begins. Making thwe Orrey movable. Lara finds the keyhole at the base of the Orrey, and going through one end of a broken time warp, comes out the other end with the second peice. The head of the Iluminatii starts to put the picies togher, with a lecture. Powell gets sick of this and shoots him. He then takes the pices and puts them together-........And nothing happens...he tries again, still nothing... Lara is smirking. Something is going on. There is only one way to convience here, so he throws a knife at Alex and kills him. Lara, wanting him back, and to have enougher cjhance with her father. Shoots the clock in a time warp, and takes a tiny pecie of sand frowm the depths of the clock. Holding it above the trinagl, she drops it....'To see the world in g grain of sand'. Sudden;y, LAra and Powell are racing up a pyrmid, running to the triangle. Lara gets there first, and sends her self back to her father. They have a meaningful catch up about the last years and about the Ilumminatii. He convinces her to destroy the clock, so not to undanger the world. She leaves the time warp, and goes back and saves alex, by pointing the knife Powell's way. She shoots the triangle into a million peices, thenthe knife comes and hits Powell in the chest. Once every one is out of the building, it asrats to collapse. Did i mention that Powell and Lara are currently risking there lives over a locket, no u say? well Lara wins and gets her butt our of ther as fast as she could. Bacxk at home, Lara comes out in....DRESS??????????? no, i have not misstyped that, a dress. Of course Hillary brins out her guns.....- Sorry if that is still to long, but this was my 4th attemp in under a page in 3 days...i can't be bothered doing it again...i have to go sleep now.... |
