Lara was born into a world of butlers, fortune and the occasional Corgi. Her life was set out for her. Lara's Parents had her arranged to be married to the Earl of Farrington. Knowing Lara, she didn't go through with it, he is still waiting... Her father was titled dead at an earlty age for Lara, this gave her a constant grief on her shoulders. When she started school at Gordonstoun, she discovered her joy of traveling the world to exotic places. Later on in her life, at Swiss Finnishing School, she took a holiday in the Himalayas, where she became a serrious extreme skier. But on her return trip back to London, her plane crashed deep in the mountains, and she was the only survivor. After 2 weeks of living of the essentials, she stumbled into a tiny mountain village. Realising that she prefered a life on her own in exotic locatiions, rather than the upper class British life, Lara began her life of raiding tombs. While in her mansion in Surrey that she grew up in(inherited from her father when he died), she trains in her course(the ex-ballroom), studies in the Grand libaries and relaxs. Usualy not at home for more then a week or to, it is kept clean by her butler, Hillary. To fund her trips and equipment, Lara is a photograher. She has been featured in many magazines. She has alos written 2 books in her spare time(which she has little of may i add), titled 'A Dinosaur is Gnawing on my Head' and 'Slaying Bigfoot'.
Lara prefers not of thinking of tombraiding as a job, she sees at as 'a way of life'. Lara makes her own rules, and breaks others. She lives life on the edge. And she loves it. And if you love it, what else really does matter at all?
