As I have told you before; I have got a new job.
A new company, new challenges, new paycheck, working with other morons...It's brilliant!
Let me explain why I refer to them as morons, other then "Because they really are";
The company I now work for started up about 4 months before I started with them, and MY GOD..they really didn't do anythinng in those 4 months. I mean nothing, nada!
Yeah they build a building, put some phones and PC's in it and started selling stuff (cable TV and broadband that sort of thing) but they didn't think about what it takes to build a company.
Managers were hired, all very good capable people I'm sure BUT, when you start up a company you need Start-up managers, and these guys just weren't it.
The place is a mess, no procedures. No-one has a clue what they need to do, and no-one can clean up the mess, or atleast no-one knows where to start cleaning...It's beautifull! I love it!
All those old managers have been given the sack or they pissed off themselves before they could get fired, and now I RULE SUPREME!
I am the only with the knowledge of how to build this up, how to clean up the mess, get the right people in and how to sort this out in three months!And IT WILL BE DONE!

Now don't get me wrong; I am not in charge of "the great clean-up", I am just lower ward however..they can't do it without me. And they fucking know it! If I don't sort this out, no-one will.
The right people have started applying for jobs within the company (no co-incedence that they all used to work for me), I have gotten the right systems in place. I am writing the procedures and I tell management what to do next. And they LISTEN!..It's wonderfull, just like a normal company! Someone, no matter whom, comes up with a good idea and management and the board pay attention.

This company will promote me within a year...they said so. I am betting anyone it will take me no longer then 4 months to get promoted. There is no doubt. Amazing, but true. These guys lost my train of thought 1 week after I started, and they know they are falling behind.
They know they have hired someone that is very good at this job, they even tell me so every day, and they know that it will be rewarded shortly. They know it and I know it.

I am working my arse off, so my social-life is gone, but this is great! Now all I have to do is get rid of 4 people in my team. they are a waste of space. Un-flexibel, whining little people Slackers. I do not tolerate slacking in a start-up company.
The company had 4 months to Fuck about, they are loosing loads of customers due to this. No more, playtime is over! I have given myself 3 months to sort it out, and i know it can be done. I have said so during meetings with people, everybody that gets in the way will get trampled. This company has a VERY good chance of succeeding, and if everybody listens and pays attention over the next few months, We will!
And then the big bucks start rolling in.

Prepare for loads and loads of changes people, and try to keep up. And to the Fab4,Pink-slips will be handed out shortly.
