It was a joyfull Thursday last week, I have found new faith in employers.
As you all know I am working for a crap company, they make crap computers and they hire some really crap managers and other supervisors.
There have been some events in the last few weeks, including the roof coming off, that have shown me that somebody that even remotely respects himself can no longer work for my current employer.
The roof will take months to fix, yes indeed MONTHS!, People that have been supervising a team for over a year still don't know how to use the most basic of tools to do their job and blatantly admit that to management making my team look like the morons most of them are, but I don't want to be a part of it.
Management still lies to their people about every decision they make. And friendliness is still preffered over competance.
And most of the cool people are gone already.
I have therefor handed in my resignation last Thursday. (I think the lower wards will rejoice)

I have spoken to another company and they have agreed to pay me the same if I join them, and they have even been kind enough to put it in my contract that I will have a MUCH better job with them within a year. Believe it or not, they were VERY impressed with my knowledge and skills. (Meaning they know what they are talking about. I have stated before that I really am VERY good at my job and they realised that immediatly according to them)
This company is not a direct competitor from the one I am currently enslaved by (unfortunatly not in the same market), they do appreciate the fact that I can supply them with a great deal of fully trained, top-class proffesionals (people that now work for me).
Yes indeed, I am also going to be responsible for hiring the best people I can find and there are some very good people working for me as an agent at the moment...they are also fedup with their current job and have already asked me whether they can come with me to my new employer..My answer to some of them was "I would be happy to hire you and will speak to them"
I have now spoken to my new employer and BEHOLD; They have agreed to hire anyone who gets a positive recommendation from me. Now all that needs to happen is that my guys will agree to the offer I make them, and I know some of them definetly will.

The day of my resignation was a momentous date, planned to perfection by yours truly.
I could have resigned earlier but decided that resigning on the 15th of March would be better..."WHY?" Because that is the date that my "final written warning" expires.
They had a full year to try and get rid of me and they couldn't! Fucking losers!
This is what really shows their incompetence, Lord knows I gave them plenty of chances.
They tried, and failed miserably. Now on the day of my choosing, the day of reckoning so to speak, I am out of here.

I know they will rejoice, management has never been happier. They should know deep down they failed to get rid of me but will they realise? NO! They also know that one of the last competant people in my team is gone, but do they take action? NO! Can they take action? NO! Sorry guys it's too late.
Now what you are stuck with is three overpaid do-nothings, and one very incompetant supervisor. (And that's just in my team, I am not even talking about Mr "Wing it" who still spreads his infectious plague of incompetance all over the workfloor..I am not even talking about his manager "The Teacher" "Those who can DO and those who can't teach!" Is what my father always said, and for once he was right) God bless you!! Have fun!
I am taking my best people with me, and you will be stuck with nothing but sheer incompetant ass-kissers.

You will not care, as long as you get paid, and that's fine with me.

Don't apply for a job at the company I work for, you won't get hired.

My new employer has already stated that I will be responsible for the whole operation-deal and will be involved in ALL the recruiting, this will mean that; "Even if we are considering hiring a manager from your previous employer, we will come to you first". And that's a quote people!..And that means "NO JOB!"

I am not a hatefull person (OK, I actually am), but this really feels very very good.

Another victory for me.. and that would make it..Oooh, ehhh.. Let's see;
