As you know by now, I am not the sensitive type and watching the news over the last two days and reading forums and speaking to friends made me realise that even more.

Let me explain, todays date is the 12th of September 2001 or as known from now on in New York "The Day After".
Yesterday terrorist striked against The States, going for the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon, they killed about 30000 people (rough estimate as the figures are not yet known at this time). A terrible tragedy for anybody that lives in that area or lost friends or family.
However, I don't care one bit! Yes it bites but would America be in shock if Scotland or Holland was attacked? I don't think so.

The only thing I could think was "My god, that was a well organised piece of terrorism. those guys finally figured out how to hit someone where it hurts."
I know, a terrible way to think maybe but then again..why should I care about what happens in New York? I have only got a couple friends in the States, some in New York, and they are OK, so then it does not involve me.

The following is happening in Europe now, Football games have been cancelled, everybody is talking about "This disaster of immense proportions" including my friends (And they aren't really fans of the USA).
I am sick and tired of it! I don't expect the Americans to cancell baseballgames when Scotland gets bombed and my friends die! NO! Life fucking goes on!
There have been Earthquakes in Turkey, Nuclear powerplants exploding in India, Floods in Bangladesh. Hundreds of Thousands of people brutally murdered in the former Yugoslavia and Lord knows where else, .did we cancell football games? Hell, did we even talk about it in the pub?? NO! We didn't care then so why should we care now?

America is a driving Economical and military force in the world, that why! That's why we went to fight Saddam Hoessein, and that's the only reason we care now!

I hear politicians on TV talking about taking extra precautions in Europe. you can't fly directly over London anymore! WHAT THE HELL?
Update for you politicians; YOU'RE SAFE! Nothing to worry about in London!!
America has pissed A LOT of people off in the past and finally someone got back at them!
You can't keep policing the world and not expect to get crap thrown back at you!
I have said (As have government security advisers apperantly) that this was going to happen some day. I didn't know who would have the balls big enough to do this, but I knew it was gonna happen..everybody with half a brain knew this!

Now stop the bitching and just get on with it! It might sound rude and cruel but The Championsleague (Football) is more important to me then the World Trade Center and the people that worked there...If I didn't know somebody that lost a few friends in the Pentagon I would even have considered that to be funny.
The biggest and best military facility in the world taken out by some guys with knifes? Also the Pentagon not having any defense against this sort of thing? Security dudes, shit falls out of the sky when people attack you..this might not ussually be a plain but you should be prepared for this sort of shit..just a few missiles will do. even I would have thought of that one! And as soon as ppl hit the WTC, you go on Red Alert..cuz they will be coming for your ass!

America, sorry this happened but get over it as soon as possible that would show true strength! That's what the people in India, Servia, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Palestinia, Congo, Libanon and whichever hellhole on earth you can possibly think off did!!

Now excuse me but I got a game to catch (apperantly I can still watch reruns as they haven't been cancelled)
