Apart of the work that Juerg has done at Oman Cement Company, we could visit several places around Muscat, the capital of Oman. It was Mutrah and Muscat in the capital aerea and Nizwa on a trip into the country, about 150 km away from Muscat. We stayed always at the Novotel in Seeb. Very impressive for us were the temperatures which went up to 50 deg C. Even in the night it hardly cooled below 30 deg. The water in the pool was at 35 deg at all time. |
