Swimsuit Requirements: Girls ---- Wear one-piece (competition style) swimsuits to all swim meets. We recommend the same style for most practice sessions to obtain optimum performance. Boys ---- Wear competition style swimsuits to all swim meets. Regular boys swimsuits are acceptable. Cut-offs or similar attire will not be permitted at swim meets or practices. |

|
|
Team Swimsuits: Team swimsuits are provided with the swimmers registration. Practice swimsuits are also available for sale at $15.00 each. Information regarding the team suit (model, style and color) is available from any Board Mamber
As always, we recommend that the team swimsuit be worn only during the swim meets to preserve the life of the suit. Practice suits tend to take a beating and not last more than a year, if that long. Ask any "experienced" swim Mom about proper care and maintenance of swimsuits, caps and goggles. |

Caps and Goggles: While neither is mandatory, you will find that both are generaly essential to a productive swim session. Caps ---- For both boys and girls, caps help reduce the effects of the chlorine on the hair. The experienced swimmer (except for those with shaved heads) knows that caps are effective in reducing drag in the water. Goggles --- Most swimmers use them, although some do not. Goggles are very effective in eliminating eye irritation caused by chlorine
Team caps and goggles are generally available for sale during practices and swim meets. Contact a board member for information regarding availabilty and pricing on each. |

T-Shirts: Team T-shirts for swimmers are included in the registration fee. At registration you must select the size (samples are available to try on) for your swimmer(s) and indicate same on the registration form.
To promote team spirit, T-shirts are available for purchase by parents, grandparents, siblings and even total strangers for $10.00 each. We no longer order t-shirts based on historical trends, so you must order additional t-shirts at registration or at a later date (which will be advised to you). This is so that we do not lose money on t-shirts. After the initial orders received from the registration information, we will place an additional order when enough orders are received to meet the t-shirt vendors minimum order requirements (which in the past has been 12). You may not have a t-shirt unless you have a written order. See a board member for details. |
