Ok so it was friday night and Beanie boy and I had decided we were going to make casts for our arms.. The origional idea came from a stupid paper macheyed balloon I was making for a mexican tea at the church. So I went and bought plaster of paris and special gauze wraps with already to go dunk in water and put on your arm stuff. So I casted Beanie Boy's left arm and he casted my right arm and we were laughing so hard through the entire process... It took about 20 minuts to finish...
We used warm water to activate the plaster of paris and the special bandages that needed warm water to get it going... This has to be the funnest thing I've done in a while... hahahhaa it was so much fun! so after we put vasoline on our arms, and the special cotton strips we casted away. I was laughing so hard I
did a bad job on Beanie boy's cast... there was this lump that was saging down... After the normal cast gauze part we dipped strips of colored paper in plaster of paris and put around the cast to make it a "rainbow colored cast"... this was so stupidly funny... Beanie boy's friend from school came to our mexican tea at our church, and this is where we casted our arms. In the Youth Room... Only about 5 people were there while we did this...including the two of us... Beanie boy's friend from school really does have a cast... so we were teasing him at how much prettier our were compaired to his... and the fact that we can take ours off at any time and he can't...he found that funny...
As we were drying our casts with my hair blow dryer and the "heater" for the youth room (beanie boy)... a spark flew from the heater and shorted my hair blow dryer AND the heater... we reccon somebody shoved something inside the heater that triggered the spark.. in any case neightor work now... once our casts were dry we had our frineds still in the room sign our casts.. they had problems thinking of what to write, they wanted to write get well soon and thins like that but we weren't injured so they wrote, good luck, and their names, and just "nice arm" and things like that... Beanie boy's friend, the one who really has a cast wrote on mine "your just jellous becasue you'll never get a real one..." LOL that was funnyish...
Above is the balloon in the paper machey that started it all... IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT STUPID BALLOON. I'm glad the balloon started it, not only did beanie boy and I have fun doing this, but our friends who were watching and taking pictures for us had heaps of fun watching, laughing, and hanging out...
