Ride Description

Simply stated, this is one of Washington's best loops. Follow well graded logging roads uphill for 11.5 miles. You will have several viewpoints as you near the top. The 12 mile trail decends gradually allowing plenty of opportunities to haul ass. About the only obstacle on this trail is your ability to fight the "G" force as you round a few sharp corners. Be careful not to ride too fast, though, as you may end up making an unsuspecting hiker your obstacle. Remember, it only takes one collision to close an entire trail to bikers. This one's too valuable to loose.

Directions To Trailhead

Drive to Cashmere via Hwy 2 (about 10 miles west of Wenatchee). There are two exits into town. Take the first if you are coming from the west. Take the second if coming from the east. Continue straight through the stoplight on Division Street. Round the corner and the road turns into Pioneer Street. Turn left on Mission Creek Road for 1/2 mile then turn right crossing Mission Creek and turn left back onto Mission Creek Road. In 7.4 miles the road turns to gravel. Road forks. Take the left fork, #7100 for another 2.7 miles. Park at a designated parking lot on the right side. There is an outhouse here for your convenience.
