| Oh, I had the most FAB-U-LOUS day today. I went to see Leslie Feinburg talk today, s/he was amazing. Wow. Kerry Kennedy Cuomo was nothing compared to this woMan (not that Cuomo was anything to begin with). And the reception, oh it was wonderful. The food was not only identifiable but was good! I was there forever talking to people. Wow. At one point it was Anne Nicolosi, Marissa, Kim Peterson, Leslie, Ryan (Karim's bf) and me. I was glad when later I found out Ryan didn't have a clue about what they were saying either. Then all of us and Chantel, her kids, Juda and Janet Grey went out to a sushi place. OH MY GOD!! It was hilarious. There are some truly amazing people in this world and I am sooo happy that I get to call some of them my friends. :) Oh, I am seriously thinking about not becoming a high school teacher and becoming a writer instead. Of course I'll also continue being an activist...I swear activism is more addictive than nicotine and a lot healthier too. mood: happily exhausted music: la vie boheme, rent |
