| My letter was in the Signal today.Yay! Kerry Kennedy Cuomo even mentioned it in her speech... Then at the reception, Nicole, a girl I barely know from WILL, came up and said she liked it! YAY! Not that I don't appreciate the compliments from my friends, I do, but I kinda knew they would agree with me... Of course the agreement was not universal. The quote, "If we could convert people, there would be no or very few heterosexuals and definitely no homophobic people" is apparently offensive. And of course, "promoting" my sexuality is offensive. But, progress was made! The offended party actually spoke to me! Granted, it might not have been the most productive conversation, but at least there was a conversation. mood: sleepy music: somewhere over the rainbow, judy garland and the rainbow connection, kermit the frog |
