| My name is Ashley Macek, and I am 19. I raise American Fuzzy Lop Rabbits with my mom and recently added Havanas. I've been showing rabbits for 5 years. I first started with Netherland Dwarfs, then went to Holland Lops. I wanted a different breed of rabbit, then I discovered the Fuzzy Lop. I bought my first rabbit from Todd Naragon. Most of my rabbits are from the lines of Leslie Hobbs, Tabatha Corbin-Meeks, and Heather Litchfield. I would like to thank them tremendously for selling me wonderful stock. I am very happy this year because my two babies that I bred, Dolly and Buck, have done very well for me. I am a member of my local 4-H group and enjoyed bringing my fuzzies to show. I have been in 4-H for 10 years. I am now ending showing in youth and 4-H because I'm 19. I've had a great experience showing in youth. I will be attending Ohio State University majoring in Animal Science beginning January, 2007. |
