A pronouncement about the

FREEDOM OF WILL

Introduction

By long centuries who say to be in the Christian faith have professed an erroneous concept, believing to be "in the reason".  When studding the concept of the supposed freedom of  Will that the man has got , is revealed that it is not
biblical.  And the Word of God respect of that, is categorical.  Hoping that my brothers can verify these affirmations, so that they do not fall in the error to teach "in the Truth" concepts that belong to a "doctrine" very distant of the
True Faith, that is based in the Rock that is Jesus and in His Word, the Sacred Scriptures.

Sometimes man has thought or wanted to think, that he is free to decide the kind of life he choose and everything that he wanted to do.  The present study shows biblically how the Lord, our God, has always gone in advance of us, prescribing our way, telling us what is good and what is wrong; regulating our actions and, more than that, being anticipated to them.

The Lord has a perfect plan for the Humanity, everything that the man do according to his
commandments, statutes and ordinances, approach him toward God; and everything that the man do out of the Will of God, moves away him of God and of his Holy Kingdom. Therefore, the human being has got a life whose direction
is indicated and predicted.  Any act that go against the direction that God indicates to us, is NOT free will, but DISOBEDIENCE to GOD.  The Lord has all our actions predicted, identified and defined, and even our thoughts He knows. (Joshua.1:7-9; 1:18; Psalm. 94:11).
The Holy Scriptures shows human actions that, wrongly, can be taken as freedom of action of man over the Will of God; but when analysing them just a little we found that there wasn't such "Freedom", but was one more time, the Will of God putted in action.

Let see.In Genesis, cap.  13, it is related that Abram has combat with Lot about the land that they shared, because it become
small to contain all the goods, cattle and other goods that both has got. Then Abram asked to Lot to set apart of him and choose the land that wanted and left the remainder to him.
In Genesis 10 and 11, Lot chooses what he believed was the best land, because was a rich land and land irrigated and like the garden of God.
And then Lot go apart from Abram and set his tents until the city of Sodoma.  Abram in the meantime, camps in the land of Canaan.  Here God declares Its Will and promise to Abram to give him all the southern, the north, the east and the west land.  Why?  Because while Lot did its will, Abram was submitted to the Will of God.  Therefore, and because God, our Lord, always does Its Will.  And it was the will of God that Abram will received this promise.

Also the Scriptures, in Leviticus 22, talk about  "voluntary offerings", but this offerings -one more time- has conditions imposed by God: "When someone gives a sacrifice of peace to God, to comply a vote, or the voluntary offerings, could be of cow or of sheep, to be accepted most be without defect" -Lev.22:21.  And in the text following describes specifically all those defects that would do undesirable the offerings for God.

Without going further, we take the case of Eva.  We would be able to think that she chose to eat of the forbidden tree; but the certain thing is that simply it DISOBEYED, because already God had gone ahead and there was placed on his statute:

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 3:16-17

Consequently, Eva only could obey or not; and there was DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD.

There are hundreds more examples.  The Pharaoh that harden their heart and Moses sending a new one plagues, etc.
But, we see that since God declared to Mouses the exit of Egypt, says: "And I will harden Pharaoh's heart..." (Exodus.7:3).
Then, the disobey of Pharaoh, did the Will of God.  I ask one more time, my Brother, Of what freedom of will we are speaking?  In which book of the Bible is written, that I have not been able to find it?
The Christian Bishop Jose Ignacio Sources, today Apostle of the Church of God Voice in the Desert
(www.Vozeneldesierto.cl -Only Spanish), in the treaty "Keeping the Healthy Doctrine", indicates "A healthy faith will produce healthy men and women; a sick faith will produce the opposite thing, and if the faith is the base of the doctrine,
therefore a "healthy faith" will give us as result a "Healthy Doctrine".

"If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
First Timothy. 4.6.

Some people when it is said that the free will doesn't exists --because not only it doesn't exist in the Scriptures, it goes against its teachings -- are used to say: "Then we are puppets in the hands of God".

The answer in the scripts is still more strong:worms we are before the eyes of God! (Job 25:6; Sal.22:6; Is.44:14). "We are dust" (Gn. 2:7; 3:19);And God, with the dust did glasses of clay, but who is the coup to judge to its potter?  (Is.45:9; Rom. 9:20-21). And then, one more time:
There is not freedom of will, although since the Mid Age this concept have been teaching.  It is a dogmatic concept that was introduced
for the Catholic Church with a very old date.  This way, nobody does have freedom of election, because already has been ordered what he should do.
If he does contrary to what  was ordered him, the truth, he has not elected, but has disobeyed.  To believe another thing,
is to think that the man can exercise its will before God, and that would be a heresy.
The man was created for God, for his Glory, his Honour and his Praise, and to form part of his Kingdom in the heaven, where will his Sons be with Him in the Celestial City, the New Jerusalem (Is. 33:16-17; 2 Co.5:1-2; Rev.3:12), or in earth (Is. 60:21, Zac. 8:4) where there will be the ones that will be saved being docile and humble, invoking his Name (Sal.37:9,11; Is.60:18-21; Joel 2:32, Hch.2:21).
All the Scriptures show us that the man cannot do its own will, but SHOULD DO THE WILL OF GOD.

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
Mathew.7:21

"For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men."
First Peter 2:15.

"As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God."
First Peter 2:16.

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
 James.4.7.

"And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.".
First John.2:17.

Now, if we fall in sin (God do not permit), we should repent us of our disobedience and defiance, and then return to the narrow road, that is the True path.  (Mt.7:13-14).  There is a good will inside us that directs us to God, and
a bad will, that is disobedience, because already the order or commission has been given us (1 Co.9:17).  When we want to do the bad thing, the sons of God are being tempted by the liar and father of lie, and when we do the good thing, we are obeying God, our Lord.
(1 Co.  10:13).
Following is a small analysis about the theme is inserted, that begins with the definition of "freedom of will" and of the concept that implies the "free will", according to the dictionary.  The definition is followed by some personal affirmations, based one more time in the Sacred Scriptures.  This study  itself is a resumed analysis of the theme in question and can be used separated.

Study:

FREEDOM OF WILL

The Holy Scriptures teach us :

1. The natural man does not have any subjection, that means, its will is oriented to the satisfaction of its carnal appetites.  It is enemy of God, because does not obey its commandments.

"For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. ".
 Romans 8:5.

"Because the carnal mind is enmity against God."
 Romans 8:7.

"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them,  I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
 Matthew 7:22-23.
(See also: Prv.15:26; Prov.24:9)

2. The sons of God are guided for the holly ghost, are held to Him and follow Their Word.

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
 Romans 8:14.

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
 James., 4:7.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death."
 John 8:51.

(See also: Sal.119:59; Prv.12:5; Prv.21:5)

3. The men that can exercise "freedom will", is in vanity, in the flesh.  And the one that is in the flesh, is dead a
person inside the world, far away of God, doing "what wants", that is, the will of the flesh and the devil.

"For the creature was made subject to vanity."
Romans 8:20.

"...And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience..."
 Ephesians 2.1-2.

"...fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others."
 Ephesians 2:3.

"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do."
John 8:44.

See also: (Dt.26:16; 32:46; Jos.1:8; 1Sm.15:22; Jer.7:23)

4. We are sons, heirs of God and servants (slaves) of Christ.  And if slaves, we have submitted our will (freedom of will)
to God and we do no longer "what we want", but Its Will, like faithful servants (slaves) .

"Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart."
 Efesios 6:6; Col. 3:22.

"And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together."
 Romans 8:17.

"But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness... "
 Romans 6:22.

"...likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant."
First Corinthians 7:22.

See also: (Gen.6:22; 12:24; 22:2-3; Ex.36:1; Jos.11:15; 2R.18:6)

5. To believe in the "freedom of will" is to believe in the man, since this concept is opposed to the Will of God, and is not a doctrine of the Holy Scriptures Clearly is forbidden us to do something that do not be arranged by God in the holly scripts: To disobey this is sinned.

"Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men."
First Corinthians 7:23.

"...for whatsoever is not of faith is sin."
 Romans 14:23.

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
 John 14:15.

"And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him."
 Hebrews. 5:9.

See also: (Dt.11:28; 28:15; 1S12:15)

6. The man is not owner of its road, is the Lord the one that directs us in all our thoughts and in all our steps.   All the things are hold by Him .  Aleluyah.

"O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps."
 Jeremiah 10:23.

"...Turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein."
 Acts 14:15.

"Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD."
 Jeremiah 17:5.

"Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man."
 Job 33:12.

"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."
 Psalms 118:8

See also (1Sam. 28:18; 1R.13:21-22; Jer.12:17)

It is necessary to consider some truths to consolidate our conviction and our faith in the Word inspired of God:

"Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help."
Psalm 146:3.

"God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written...".
Romans 3:4.

The reason why to believe in God is that only He Can Save you:

"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?".
(Numbers 23:19).

It is important to recognize the Voice of God, distinguish of the strange voices; The difference it is made by the results:
"For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.".
Psalm 33:9.
The faith is necessary to receive of God what we need, but as important as this is the faith to obey Its Word, obeying and putting it in work.
We most have a firm belief: A full conviction produces a full recognition of the revelation of the Truth of God, and as result the Salvation.

When the Lord itself spoke and declared Its Word, he was not believed by the ones that supposedly knew the Scriptures, the Lord said them:
"And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not."
John 8:45.
(See also: Prv.1:23; Is.6:9-11;Is.26:3; Is.29:11-14).

One of the characteristics of these teachings is that the eternal things are decided here and now.  The Lord says in Isaiah:
"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.".
Isaiah 55:11
Amen.

(See also: Jn.3:36; 8:24; 16:8-9; Ro.11:20; 2Ts.2:12; He.3:12)

And you, dear brother, henceforth will you do your will, or finally will submit it to the Will of God for always?
My yearning is that the Lord Jesus bless you and prosper in your good intentions. Amen. C-2002.
