| Oh, yes, and I have this bunch of weirdo friends (I lied, by the way.
No photos for you.), who here I'll list in the approximate order of their
distance from my home:
Walking-Distance Friends - ChrisP and JFK/Josh(Frosh):
ChrisP is fun. Yes. He has one of the most impressive collections
of board games I've had the pleasure of seeing, and a completely bizarre
sense of humor that has the effect of getting him in trouble. Josh is..
umm... he's perturbed. But in a good way. He runs a neato Amber
game, where I get to play this dude who's running around trying to convince
everyone that he's insane. He's also everyone's favorite creator of
huge Skittles.
Boonies Friends - Gregor and Thadd: Gregor worries
me. He's fun, though, and freakishly tall, and has some good anime.
I think maybe he'd mke me less nervous if he'd eat and sleep more often;
I keep thinking that the poor child with blow away on a stray breeze.
Thadd's a writer of sorts; he's fun too. I don't know why I even bother
pointing that out; it's true of everyone. But, at any rate, he's always
a good source for something random, failing Kim.
More Boonies Friends - Noël and Kim: Noël
is.. well.. she's in need of a vacation. 'Nuff said. Kim is
the most random person I've ever met. I never fail to be impressed
by her apparent nonchalance as she brutally attacks me for carying an offensive
keychain, or decides that this pair of headphones here belongs on that person's
head over there.
Yet More Boonies Friends - Jessie and KerryX: Okay,
well, KerryX lives in MoPlains, but that's as bad as the booonies.
She's bright and cheery and only slightly alarming, a welcome change of pace
from the more thorough alarmingness around me. Jessie's cheery too.
She'd probably want me to tell you that Trent says hi. Someday, I'll
explain who Trent is, if you ask all nice-like.
Last Boonies Friend - Pagano: Poor Matt Pagano gets
all kinds of crap from us, 'cause apparetly Paganus is Latin for villager
or peasant. So we get to call him Farmboy. And then, we found
out that his brother's friends call his brother Piggy, so we can call him
Piglet too! Joy!
Friend in Town - Jason: He's another of those needs-to-eat-and-sleep
sorts. Except that he regularly gets more sleep each week than the
rest of the senior class combined. It's as if he sleeps while doing
other things, like eating and being at school.
Friends who I don't know where they Live - Susan and Meredith:
Susan's pretty cool. She's really quiet, though. Susan, speak
up! Meredith is fun too; she has a great park near her house, and she's
got another of those interesting senses of humor. Yay.
Out of Town People - Tina and Mera: Yes, more ladies.
I'm too busy having a harem to have male friends, okay?
College Friends: There are pooploads of these,
so they're broken up into subcategories:
Rutgers People - Teddy, Erik, Chunky, Skip: College
people. Joy to the world. Teddy has a collection of RPgs; Erik
makes chainmail. Chunky is the official Group Athlete, and Skip is
Skip.
New York People - Elyssa and Justin: E is way
fun. We recently went out for sushi and played with the garden hose
and nearly gor Gregor all muddy. It was great. Justin is brighter
than I. Mathboy. That's what he is. A mathboy.
Really Far Away People: Rose and Dev: Rose should have
a daytime talk show. I'd watch it. It'have cool things like
her sheep from the farm in Maine and random visits to Home Depot.
Dev lives his entire life in a sort of drunken sleepy stupor, but to my
knowledge he doesn't really drink. He should get off whatever he may
or may not be on, though, because he's doomed.
Piiite friends: The members of the planetpii
egroups mailing list. They're all great, but right now I have to go
and not write about them till a bit later.
