Tryout Info
To be a member of the LCC Cheerleading Team you must be accepted and enrolled in the college for the Fall 2004 semester. Because this team is considered a club, all of the students trying out will be accepted a team. However, because of number restrictions, students will have to tryout for the competitive team. If a canidate does not make the competitive team, he/she will still have the option of cheering on the sideline team. STUDENTS MUST BE FULL TIME (12 CREDITS) IN ORDER TO BE ON THE COMPETIVITE TEAM!

Being on the LCC Cheerleading Team will be a time consuming activity. Depending on what team you are on hours per week may vary due to the activity present that week. However, no matter what the hours, all games, pracitices, competitions and other squad activites will take precedence over all other non-academic activities including work. There will only be a specific number of missed practices allowed. This and other rules will be discussed prior to tryouts.

Sideline Team:        AVERAGE: 10 hours/week
Will cheer at games = 4 hours
Practices to be determined but to be no less than 6 hours per week

Competitive Team:  AVERAGE: 10 hours/week
Practices will be 6-9 hours per week
Gymnastics will be 1 hour per week
