To prepare, the whole group set up a temporary 'makeup studio' in the master bedroom of the Mayang house - once Choi's room, and Chris' and my room for the month of September to December. Julia came later to help, and we ended up dressing up a 'chinese ghost family'. Lemme see - David was 'grandpa', I was 'grandma', Julia was 'the youngest daughter', both Stephs were the other daughters. Ah Hock was one of those scary paper dolls they like to hop around, Alan was Death and Jeremy was Dracula! Angie and Karen were....Angie and Karen! :)

The dramatic moment came. All of us lined up behind the entrance while 'ka che' (Angeline) arranged the details with Choi. Okay, this was perhaps one of my most embarassing/fun moments of my life. The music played this 50s chinese music (which I had the name) and we walked in acting our part as the dead people.

We made quite an entrance! Though I still cover my face when I think about it! :)
