OUR LOCATION
We are located in Ottawa, the Capital of Canada, a beautiful city with a population of approximately 1 million people. Ottawa has two Universities, Algonquin College and many private schools, and it is also the home of The Ottawa Senators, our NHL hockey team.
SERVICES:
We provide student placement with a homestay family. To ensure that the student requirements are fulfilled and LAC standards are met, each host family is personally visited and interviewed by LAC staff. A student is provided with a private room, three meals a day and access to laundry facilities. We also provide a 24 hour emergency telephone number so students may contact us at anytime.
EXECUTIVE PACKAGES
We provide upscale executive packages to company employees or employer sponsored groups. These packages could be home stay, apartment hotel or hotel accommodations.
LAC's commitment to excellent service quality is shown by maintaining continuous contact with both the student and the homestay family, and by providing ongoing access to LAC for both the student and the homestay family for any assistance that may be required. This commitment to, and provision of quality service, in association with affordable rates, has resulted in an accelerating demand for, and growth in LAC services. Interlangues Language School, Algonquin College, Department of National Defense, Estrie Language School, Canadian Bureau of International Education and the Italian Military are just a few examples of LAC's client base.
A Homestay family provides safe accommodation for the student and also makes the student part of their family by including them in family activities and social events on a regular basis. The student is expected to act as a respectful guest while living with the homestay family. You will reside in a private room, furnished with a bed, desk, dresser and closet space. You will be responsible for your own laundry and keeping your room tidy. The host family will supply you with a key to their home so you may come and go
as required.
TELEPHONE CALLS:
If you have to make long distance calls, please discuss this with your homestay family. Some families will allow you to post a deposit each month against your calls and refund the balance when they receive their telephone bill. If you have family calling from your country, be sure that they know the time difference and don't call before 8 a.m. or after 10 p.m.
GUESTS:
Do not bring guests to your homestay without first getting permission from
the family.
ABSENCES:
If for any reasons you will not be home for a meal or intend to stay out late or are going on a overnight trip, please advise your homestay family as they have to know how to plan meals and would worry if you did not advise them.
AIRPORT PICKUP:
If required, students will be met by their Homestay family, upon their arrival at the
Ottawa International Airport.

First 30 nights. (Paid in advance) $750.00
Each consectuive month: $675.00
Airport Reception.
Airport to Homestay and return. $70.00
