Air Experience Flying (AEF)
As an Air Cadet you will receive the opportunity to fly in the  RAF's basic trainer, the Grob Tutor. Under the guidance of a trained pilot, you are able to control the aircraft yourself and even perform your own aerobatics manoeuvres. Flying takes place at the many Air Experience Flying Schools across the country, and each air cadet will have at least one flight per year.

Air Expeience Gliding (AEG)
As an Air Cadet you will receive the opportunity to fly in a glider, under the guidance of a trained pilot you can gain experience, then a Gliding Induction Certificate, and then undergo advanced training to gain your glider pilots wings AT THE AGE OF 16! Gliding takes place at many Volunteer Gliding Schools across the country. Langley Squadron use 613 VGS
