After years on the internet, I finally met a deaf
cyberfriend.  I noticed a new member in a web
ring had the name Angel Deafone.  I wondered
how her last name was pronounced. LOL 

I finally got up the nerve to ask her if she was
deaf, and a new friendship was formed.  She 
and Laurie,another netfriend and webring sister of 
mine started a new webring. "Silent World"

I was the first member to join and within a few 
days my computer messed up. I was offline for 
quite a while and when I got a chance to get on
line I found the webring had gained many new 
members. I was the new one to everyone there.

What a wonderful caring group of friends ! The
other great surprise was many were hearing 
members. No segregation in this webring !! *s*

I found all the hearing impaired members have
the same difficulties to overcome, and the same
problems dealing with family, and most feel 
socially isolated. we can really relate to each 
other.  We also have lots of fun as a group, and 
our hearing members are learning so much too.

We all share in our joys, problems, and daily lives.
I am so thankful for the friends I have met in this 
caring, group in cyberspace. Thank you my dear
friends at Silent World. You are all Earth Angels !
