| Well it's official. I am now old. I can remember George Sr. in the White House, Desert Storm, The Y2K scare, and the Clinton scandal. Reagan was in office when I was born, 2 space shuttles have fallen from the sky. Hit movies in and around my birth year include The Back to The Future Trilogy, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and the Ninja Turtles. Mullets have come and gone, being Gen X isn't rad, or phat, or knarly anymore. Sick, sweet and cool mean the same thing. MTV very rarely shows videos anymore and Napster has been shut down. Now COPS and the Discovery Channel aren't the only reality shows on t.v. Computer graphics animation is rapidly becoming the best way to film movies. What really happened to Walt Disney? And does anyone really remember cassette tapes? Yes, I am 17 and life is getting duller. Time to stop coloring outside the lines amd time to actually learn how to take notes in class. Now driving is no longer cool and new, but expensive and boring. If these are the best years of my life... I sure feel sorry for myself as an adult =-P. |
