August 3, 2003 - These are a few of the participants from the Ms. Teen Carigara pageant. It was sponsored by the LGU (local government unit) and held as part of the fiesta activities from July 14-16. Filipinos enjoy beauty pagents and do not seem to have any doubts that it is proper to judge people based on how they look. | ![]() |

| The contestants displayed their talents and intelligence and through the night I gained a great appreciation for their poise. They performed though nevrousness and heat and smiled until the finish at 3 am. They had an amazing level of talent and creativity. Its was fun to watch these young girls perform so well. | ||||||||||||||||
