| Rev 105 was a wonderful radio station in Minneapolis during the early to mid 1990s. It was a bitch to tune in, but damn was it inspiring. Unfortunately, the station was eventually bought out by the corporate hounds, thus bringing to a close what was certainly one of the best few years of radio around. Peter Jesperson had a show on air each week called "Shakin' Street" which was amazingly broad in its reach. It was where I first heard Wilco's "A.M." as well as Blue Mountain's "Dog Days." REV 105 is still missed. People like Kevin Cole and the girl who did "Moonlight Meditations"; the endless assault of quality tunes; the lack of commercial garbage. The world should support things like this. Lc. HOME |
