Dusted Vinyl is proud to announce that it will be working with Joe Kile, a fantastic, low-fi guitarist and songwriter from the St. Louis area.

And who, exactly, is Joe Kile?

I met Joe through Chris "CW" Burney, who plays stand-up bass with Tim Easton, and has toured with Mark Olson and Victoria Williams, among others.  Seems Chris and Joe used to play together in a band out of St. Louis called Ashtray, which is now, sadly, defunct.

I have heard Joe's demos and they are pretty amazing. Very low key, yet stunning country/folk stuff, if you like that sort of thing, which you should.  Joe and I are working on getting some sound samples together, and one of his tracks will appear on the Dusted Vinyl CD.  In the meantime, you're just gonna have to lick your chops in anticipation of hearing some of the best new music you are bound to hear this year.

In addition to Joe, a number of artists from coast-to-coast are set to appear on the first annual Dusted Vinyl compilation disc, entitled "Poached Hard/Poached Soft."  Dusted Vinyl looks forward to working with many of these artists in times to come.
