So you enjoy "West Wing," eh?  Well, let me tell you something, "West Wing" isn't even the best TV show Aaron Sorkin has written this year.  That honor goes to ABC's now canceled "Sports Night." Featuring an ensemble cast including Robert Guillaume, Felicity Huffman, and Josh Charles, "Sports Night" was a brisk look behind the scenes of an all-sports network.  The writing was occasionally overdone, but generally, the show impressed week after week.  Rumor had it that HBO was planning on picking up the show, but that hasn't happened yet.  Let's hope it eventually does.  While "Sports Night" was certainly a niche show, too intelligent for most, it was the highlight of my television viewing week, and I miss it dearly.

GREAT NEWS!!!  "SPORTS NIGHT" WILL BE PREMIERING ON COMEDY CENTRAL THIS COMING THURSDAY, 12/28.  I AM NOT SURE IF THEY ARE MERELY RE-RUNNING OLD EPISODES, OR IF THE SHOW HAS GONE INTO PRODUCTION AGAIN.  REGARDLESS, THIS IS GREAT NEWS.
