This photo, taken in the 70's, is of my dad, Gordon West, Sr. [1906-1993] He is standing on a mountain in the NW Wichita Mountains (outside of the WM Wildlife Refuge, about 4 miles E. of Cooperton, OK). I have since named this peak Gordon Peak. To my knowledge this is the only peak in the Wichita Mtns that he physically climbed.
