| The Six were godlings born with the first rays of the sun and twinkling of the stars. As different from one another as a tree from water. And yet they exist and co-exist well with one another and aid with their own growing. The Keepers of the Tomrack are at their service to insist the protection of the Stone and those who live upon the Isle. There are times when the Six visit with the Keepers, though it is a very rare occurance. The last time was almost fifty years ago. Elisthaera -- Elder sister of the Six. She is motherly and kind. It is with her strength that children are born and lifted up through disease and heartache. Ghra'kin -- Older brother of the Six. He is hard of heart and has now caring for the world. For him, the snows come and kill with freezing touch as much as one of the others allows before he is pushed back to rest. His hand to is in the wind to wrought distruction. Vargis -- Younger brother of the Six. Vargis seeks the animals. His ways are gentle and vibrant with the want for things of peace. He sends his guides occasionally to watch over people and some to guard them from harm. Draveilah -- Younger sister of the Six. She is the goddess of war. Surprisingly, she is there to shield as much as guide the blade. It is her fire that burns in the hearts of men at battle. She cheers for them when they are victorious and weeps when they are smote. Kurlef -- Younger sister of the Six. She is a guide along the planes of Dreams. She cannot protect but advise. Her tongue is full of riddles that others must untangle. Orhpis -- Youngest of the Six. Chidlike in her adventures and wonders. She is like a sprite flitting about from one shiny thing to another. She brings with her happiness and hope where darkness and dispair rule. Hers, sometimes -- and though she seems but a child in many ways -- is the most taxing of positions. |
