In like terms, "L'Allegro", by a nature it shares with us, a magic nature, exudes an anthropocosmic and morphogenetic familiarity with the viewer - it is like a polite kiss on the cheek from a visiting dignitary/old lover to the Nation that is you. "L'Allegro", as Archetype/Divine Architecture of all technology, teaches Respect to Respect, it Muses with the Muse of cosmos, self, and civilization - Us. It reminds us at the same time that Respect and Manners of the highest order are not incompatible with a divine eroticism, a mirror of the perfect creative will which we both represent and are in endlessly mysterious and miraculous ways. Such a shamanic dialogue between the conscious and the subconscious, between image and Body (Nietzsche) (the dreams and realities of an entire planet, for instance) proves for me, once and for all time, that wonder and awe at the Beauty of who we are and where we are going surpasses and includes with warm and affectionate embrace the logical pursuit of betterment for all Life. |

Milton(Body/Architecture), like our imagination, is both the effect and cause of everything seen and unseen (Whitman). Therefore, "L'Allegro", in process and form, is an isocognitive metaphor for the free individual and biology of personal as well as collective destiny i.e. It interacts most noticeably with the mythopoetic structures of Psyche/Soul - the Golden and Eternal light of heaven which, not surprisingly, we both are and create. Milton, through his poetry, reminds us how to dance with each other, the sun, the moon, the planets and all the stars. |
