Based on the USMC M40A1, using a Remington 700
action, completely accurized with a bench rest quality stainless steel barrel,
and a Remington trigger. Robar has built an excellent quality sniper rifle.
There is nothing new or ground breaking with these rifles, just good ol' high
quality performance.
The stock is the same design as the USMC M40A1 sniper rifle, the barrel is stainless
steel, match grade chamber and crown, with Robar's exclusive contour, stock
is ambidextrous, match grade fiberglass by McMillan, pillar bedded, free floated.
Standard metal finish is black chrome sulfide.
The SR-90 is a more advanced rifle. From its completely ambidextrous McMillan adjustable stock, which incorporates such ergonomic features as palm swells, thumb rests and a more vertically orientated pistol grip, to its custom match grade stainless steel barrel, this rifle will deliver precision shot placement that can be counted on. The cheek piece can be adjusted too. This rifle was used successfully by special operational personnel in the Middle East during Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
