Keeping your Rabbit Healthy...
Housing-
Rabbits should be housed in a safe hutch or wire cage.  Their home must keep them dry, out of cold winds, away from preditors, and direct sun light.
On a wire floor, a board is necessary for them to rest there feet on.
I have found tarps to be very useful on my hutches. I use them, doubled over, to cover the wire fronts in foul weather. The tarp can be rolled up to keep it out of the way when not in use.
Food-
Your rabbits main diet should consist of alfalfa pellets and plenty of fresh water.
If you have one small rabbit don't buy a 50lb bag of food.  You don't want to keep pellets over 2 months.
(IMO) You can purchase alfalfa pellets by the pound at most feed stores. (Most require a 5 lbs minimum purchaseThe pellets should be a nice green and smell of alfalfa.  If you open a new bag and the pellets are a dull green or greyish in color, the food is not fresh and should be returned to the store.  When you find a store/brand that you are happy with, stick with it! Your rabbits alfalfa pellets should be kept dry.  A large plastic tub w/ lid works great.
Water should be accessible at all times.  I find water bottles work better than crocks or other open dishes.
There are a few different choices for feeders as well.  I like the semi-automatic feeders and hanging crocks. The crocks are easier to take down and clean.  Some use the feeders for the pellets and the crocks for special treats.  I use both.  Crocks on the wire cages and the feeders on the hutches.   I put only one serving of food at a time in the feeder.  Try to feed your rabbit at the same time everyday.
And Don't Forget...
A rabbit needs plenty of fresh air!
Their nails need to be trimmed, and ears need to be cleaned.

So, If you can find that balance of... keeping your rabbit safe, dry, out of the sun and wind... all the while giving plenty of water,  a board to sit on, clean wood to chew on,  feed at semi set times,  and some love... you should have a happy and healthy bunny!
Here is some information that I think is important when raising up a rabbit.  Some of these things I've learned on my own...the hard way.  Other things I've picked up from other rabbit breeders or books.
Best thing to do is just use good common sense!
Treats-
Treats should be given sparingly.  True, rabbits love veggies but some can make them sick or even kill them.
Soon I will list some recommended treats. I want to gather more information on this so I don't recommend something that will make your bunny sick!
