| The South Mississippi Correctional Institution (SMCI) unit of the Mississippi Alliance of State Employees (MASE/CWA) Local 3570 is an organization made up of approximately 200 Correctional Officers and Support Staff dedicated to improving the working conditions for Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) personnel and all public work employees in Mississippi. The Unit is made up of a governing board that is elected by the membership to serve for one year. This board consists of: The Unit also consists of six committees that are designed to address matters that impact individual MASE/CWA members and state workers as a whole |
