Sack Race
This year's sack race would have made Indy 500 ticket bearers jealous. In one (or so) 30-second event, the Landman Olympics Sack Race saw more action than - well, than you would believe. Five (or so) of the world's finest young atheletes lined up for edge-of-your-wheelchair excitement in what was to become the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.
The quick start seemed to startle some contestants. By 1.3 seconds into the race, at least one contestant was on the ground, and others had fallen significantly behind.
Spectaters were amazed at how fast things change in the Sack Race. Within fractions of a second, Danny suprassed all other racers with his giant leaping technique.
Yet as shown in this photo-finish, it was Tom who stretched for the yellow tape in the end. This ending was not without controversy. Photo experts have detected an extra contestant in this photo, who somehow went unnoticed during the live race. It is unknown whether this red-shorted mystery man aided another contestant, but in any case, a judgement was needed.
In what may be the strangest twist of the day, a camera from another angle took this picture of the finish: as you can see, the winner could not be determined by comparing the two photo-finishes!

This race will certainly go down in history as one of the most exciting and dramatic series of events ever. People will sing songs about the race with 5 lead-changes and record-breaking manuevers. And most of all, it will be remembered as a race where, in this author's estimate, everybody wins.
