Academics
In my life, as the importance has been given mostly to my education, I could easily get upto this stage where I am at now ( I am not proud, but very very grateful to my parents).
I had always competed for one of the first five ranks in my class till my high school. Finally, in the tenth grade public examination, I came school second, with a first rank in Math. I have always had interest in doing something new (in other words, research).  I still remember this incident when I buried some leaves and water packed inside a plastic container in our small garden. I took it off next day and found out nothing had really happened. It repeated for a couple of days but finally I forgot about it. After a week, the whole garden started stinking. Nobody knew the reason (including me!!!). Then I finally remembered about my so-called "research" and then I had to threw the stuff off into the garbage. Now, eventhough these kind of incidents look funny, actually they have helped me realizing my interest being inclined towards a research oriented carreer.
                I believe in the quote
"We should be taught not to wait for inspiration to start a thing. Action always generates inspiration. Inspiration rarely generates action", as said by Leonard Bernstein.
