Even More Thoughts
That's some pretty bold text there, brother Dave. Are you sure you want to continue? Ah yes, The righteous are as bold as a lion. This is the greatest of the three pages, because this is where I invented Indian time travel

Church Of Sardis In Revelation 3:1 it says "I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead." I find this to be one of the most frightening scriptures that I read in the word of God. Because I, my church, and the churches I attend are so dangerously close to having this be spoken to us. I go to churches that are Spirit-filled, full gospel, pentecostal, and these churches have a history of being alive. The dangerous thing is that it is so easy to fall into a form of religion, to rely on talents and skill to get us through service rather than relying on the Holy Spirit. I know we do it, because I have done it and seen it done. I think that this is dangerous. Just because we say we are spirit-filled it does not mean that we are. Being Spirit-filled involves being led by the Spirit. The scary thing is that churches and people with the reputation of being alive are hard to correct. They believe that they are all right and are not in need of correction. So any type of correction is just seen as criticism and is thereby rejected. The say they are being persecuted for being right with God, when some other ministry brings the message of correction to them. To me that is a scary place to be. We cannot reject God, because God will reject us.
How are you doing? I think sometimes we ask this question just to be polite. "Hey, how ya doin?" It has become a greeting. But some people ask this question, because they really are concerned with your state of being. Here's the catch they ask the question only if they think they can help you. It goes something like this "hey, how ya doin?" "oh, not to good" "well let me help you". Of course you just ruin there whole purpose in life if your doing fine. Now when these people are helping you they can only get you too the level of well being that they are at. Because if they happen to make you feel better than them, then you can turn it around on them and be their counsellor. So if anybody asks you "how are you doing" a good answer is "just as good as you are" Then everybody is happy. Unless of course you are really hurting, then no one is happy.
Don't Start a church or ministry if... You go to Mcdonalds or Burger King and think you can make a special order. Mcdonalds only has a certain menu, anybody who goes to Mcdonalds knows this. They don't like to vary their menu or the way they prepare the food. The menu is set and these people pride themselves on their speed. Now if you go into Mcdonalds and make some special order, like a double quarter with cheese, without the cheese and just a smidgen of ketchup. Then you shouldn't start a ministry, because you are quite unaware of the world around you. You have a tendency to frustrate people Nobody wants that for a pastor. If you want to make special orders go to a restaurant, that's their job. But don't make life difficult for the waitress.
More Thoughts on Dreams All dreams are weird. Sometimes people will tell me "I had this weird dream..." When I think about it all dreams are weird. Does anybody ever have a dream where they walked to the store, bought an ice cream, and then walked home again? No, probably not. Why is that? Because everybody's dreams are weird.
Spirituality In Saskatchewan the wind is always blowing. We say "it only stops to change direction". Spirituality is hard concept to nail down because it involves so much and it's sort of a mystical thing. I always say "Spirituality is knowing which way the wind is blowing." God is always leading us in a certain direction by His Holy Spirit. It is our responsibility to be responsive to the direction that God is leading us and to not fight against it. Sailboats and airplanes get to their destinations alot faster when they are going with the wind rather than sailing against it.
Soap Operas It's okay to admit that you watch these, I won't tell anyone. I remember asking my mom once "Do you think Cass Winthrop would make it to heaven?" Cass was this heroic like character on "Another World" I was asking the question just to get my mom thinking about Christianity. I said he probably wouldn't because he didn't know Jesus. I suppose I could modernize the question and ask if Bo Brady (Days of our Lives) would make it to heaven. As much heroic things that he does on the show, it doesn't qualify him for heaven. (Your probably wondering how I even thought of those names, I think they came to me in a vision) How you ever noticed, in the soap operas, how all the guys say the most romantic and perfect things to the ladies? and how everybody is so honest about their feelings? My absolute favorite is the storylines. Characters get killed off and then miraculously return, they'll be caught in fires, get amnesia, be sick for months and then be wonderfully healed and always at the most crucial time. My brother and I were discussing this and we figured that soap operas should actually increase the faith of any believer. I mean if you can believe these fabricated stories of people being miraculously brought back to life or recovering from some deadly illness, fire, car accident, or failed marriage for the umpteenth time then it should be no problem to believe or to have faith in the real thing. Which is, if you think about it, what Jesus provides.
Indian Time Travel So here it is, Indian time travel made easy. It's so simple. I'm amazed nobody thought of it earlier. With this brilliant invention I have joined the ranks of Einstein and Thomas Edison. This is, by far, my greatest invention. Now with just the click of a button you will travel backwards or forwards in Indian time and experience worlds, ideas and thoughts once considered unimagineable in this technological age. The elapsed time of your Indian time travel journey will depend on your internet connection speed.
