| 'Aarons Branch' Installation on Handmade Paper with Clay Pigments. 36ft by15 ft, 10ft depth Center of Contempory Art, Christchurch, New Zealand. 16-3-05 This installation was created from five sheets of New Zealand Flax paper each 21ft by 24ft using a method of papermaking called Pulp Syphoning. That is..... out on the back lawn, a mesh sewn together of Nylon shadecloth, a huge barrel of pulp, and one inch hose and a very wet as a fish Mark. Two days drying, Cut, pasted and painted with clay pigments, Three days up a ladder, note to self, use steel cables next time ...with clothes pegs, no sagging and so easy!! |
