A
band of dedicated and inspiring
volunteers deliver Junior Landcare
sessions on a weekly basis for budding
Junior Landcarers at Yeppoon and
Taranganba State Schools to educate our
land managers of tomorrow. We also
have regular involvement with other
aspiring environmental carers from
environmental groups at local schools
including the Green Club at Farnborough
State School and the Bungaleers at
Sacred Heart Primary School.
Our
inspirational Junior Landcarers were
rewarded for all their hard efforts in
the year 2000 with the following
Queensland Arbor Day awards &endash;
'School
Tree Planter of the Year' and
'Central
Region Tree Planter of the
Year'
