Fantasy Vacation- Chapter 8 When I woke up on day five it was only six o'clock. I was cuddled tightly to Joey. After a moment or two a pried myself away from Joey. Then he reached for me again. I could tell that this was going to be a very tiresome struggle. When I broke free for the second time he once again grabbed at me. All I could figure was he was the kind of child that slept with a certain stuffed animal. That's when Joey started laughing and opening his eyes. The first thing I did was beat his arm silly. He eventually stopped laughing and grabbed my flailing arms. Soon I realized there was no way in hell I could get out of Joey's grasp. His arms were much stronger then mine. I gave up trying to hit him and instead kissed his lips. It was then Joey's turn to be shocked. I guessed it was because I was just hitting him and then I was kissing him. Then Joey spoke. "Wow, Lana you have terrible morning breath". I hit him again before wiggling to escape his roaming arms and hands. I ended up landing on the floor. "It seems to me that everytime I spend time with you I end up on the floor". Joey chuckled. Then he joined me on the floor. "Interesting things can happen on the floor". Joey started to kiss my neck. He continued moving his lips up until they found mine. The embrace only lasted for a moment. Then Joey began trailing his lips down. "I thought I had bad morning breath". Again Joey's lips met mine. His lips again moved down. "You do". "Then why do you keep kissing me?". Joey lifted his head and looked me in the eyes. "I like kissing you". "Even with icky morning breath?". "Even with icky morning breath. Besides my breath can't be very minty this morning either". He had me there. His breath was gross. But it didn't effect me in the least bit. Kissing Joey could never be a bad thing. Even if he was eating onions, and garlic and drinking wine. I'd still kiss him. "Your breath doesn't seem really fresh this morning, no. I'm just surprised it doesn't bother you". "Why?". "Because it bothers most guys". "I'm not most guys". "That's true I mean how many guys can say their part of a boyband. Not too many. I only know you. But I've met the other guys. Still you aren't terrible average...". "Lana, shut up and kiss me". "Okay". I pressed my lips to his. I was greatful for the change of topic. Besides being stupid I was mumbling. I don't know Joey real well and I don't want him to think I mumble. I don't mumble. Mumbling bothers me. I guess it's a pet peeve of mine. Later that day Joey brought me to Justin's room. I don't know why we had to be there but I didn't question it. Trusting Joey was totally not a problem. I was sitting on Justin's bed and Joey and Justin were in the bathroom doing god knows what. I hope they weren't doing anything...interesting. Then I just might have to join them. I giggled. "What in the world are you giggling about?", Joey asked as he entered the bedroom. "I don't want to scare you". "Why would it scare me?". "My mind is a scary place. I don't think you're ready to step into that territory". "I can hold my own". "Not there". Joey sat on the bed next to me. "Justin's in the other room. If we're really quite we can pretend were hormone stricken teenagers whose parents are in the other room". I raised an eyebrow. "Why would we wanna do that?". Joey smiled toothily. Then his hand rested high on my thigh. I removed it. A few seconds later the hand returned. I pulled it off. Of course the persistant hand continued it's assault on my leg. I gave up. Instead I placed my hand on his thigh. He giggled. "Lana, you dirty little girl!", Joey yelled. "Justin's in the other room! What if he walks in?!". Joey placed his hand over my hand, holding it in place. Justin walked into the room and saw my hand on Joey's thigh. "Lana, I'm not sure that's really appropriate". He shook his head. "Joe, you're needed in the other room". Justin returned to the bathroom. "Well, gee, I guess I'm needed". Joey left the room. "You little prick!", I yelled after him. I entered the bathroom. "Justin, that was not how it looked. It's all Joey's fault". Justin looked at me disbelieving. "Then why was your hand on his leg?". "Joey made me do it". "Joey made you do it?". Again the disbelieving look. That look really pissed me off. "Moron", I hissed returning back to the other room. I layed down on Justin's bed and before I knew it I was fast asleep. I was having a dream in which I was a part of the circus. I was a lion tamer and Joey was my lion. The wierdest part was he was a cowardly lion. Just like in the Wizard of Oz. I woke up to the feeling of the wind being knocked out of me. It felt like my chest was caving in. It was bad. "Get your fat ass off of me!", I yelled at Joey opening my eyes. Joey pouted and sat next to me. "You said bad things". He looked so sad and cute. I grabbed his face and kissed him with everything my tired self could muster. "Wowie!", Joey yelled when we pulled apart. I smiled. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings". I found my eyes glued to Joey's again. I didn't get dizzy this time. Although my knees went weak. I instead felt extremely lustful. It was an overpowering feeling. I got that a lot with Joey. Overpowering feelings. I wanted Joey so badly that I didn't care who saw us. I could've been at a cemetary visiting my dead relatives and I would do him good on the ground they were burried in. I grabbed Joey's belt loop and pulled him to me. He was laying on top of me. The weight didn't bother me at all this time. It was yummy. I slipped my hands into the back of his jeans. I could feel his smooth baby soft skin under my fingers. I pulled him closer to me and our lips met in an explosive kiss. Moments later Joey tried to get his lips to separate from mine. Reluctantly I let go. "Justin's in the other room", Joey said breathing heavily. "I don't care". "I do. Just hold on a second okay?". I let go of Joey and made frustrated gestures with my hands. Joey got up and left the room. He told Justin that we were going back to his room. Then we ran as fast as we could to Joey's room. Let me just say that it didn't burn any of the energy we had. Not like the events that followed anyway. Later that day we all went swimming. I thought it would be a wonderful way for us to spend time with all of our friends and still be together. Of course I forgot that Lauren is tremendously shy. I should've known this would be bad on her. She still wasn't totally comfortable with Joey, even if she was trying really hard. It took about twenty minutes of coaxing and a lot of turned in favors to get Lauren out of the room in her bathing suite. She had a towel wrapped around herself from her shoulders to her knees. I don't know why she covered herself so much. It's not like she was hideous. Quite the contrary. I'd probably be jealous of her if she had some confidence. I was clutching Joey's hand and pulling Lauren's arm. Jess was on the other side of Lauren. We were marching to battle. Or so it seemed. We reached the pool and sat down on some beach chairs. I pulled on Lauren's towel revealing her conservative one piece swim suite. Lauren grabbed at the towel. I jumped out of my chair and held the towel above my head. It was a terrible struggle because Lauren was slightly taller then me. Eventually Lauren quit paying attention to anything but getting the towel back. That's when I got her. One quick motion of my arm and Lauren was in the pool. That's when the others chose to show up. Atleast Lauren hadn't seen them yet. She seemed to be having fun. Lauren bounded up the stairs of the pool. She was after me. She was looking for blood. Okay, that's dramatic. A low whistle stopped Lauren in her tracks. Stupid men gotta ruin everything. I glared at Justin. He just tried to ruin everything today. I had already one upped him and planned to do it again. Lauren quickly ripped the towel from my hand and covered herself with it. "Where's Erin?", JC asked. Damnit! The ineviteable question. Why hadn't anyone told JC yet. I always got stuck with that stuff. "She left". My voice was calm and smooth. "When? Why?". "The other day. I can't believe no one told you". I gave a look to Joey that clearly said him and me were gonna have words later. "Erin and I got into a fight and she thought it would be best for her to leave. This is my friend Lauren. Erin thought it'd be silly to let a good bed go to waste. She invited Lauren. Of course we all love her and couldn't be happier that she came along". JC stared at me for a moment before sighing and sitting on a chair across the pool. Lauren elbowed me lightly. "What's his deal?", she whispered. "He was one of Erin's conquests". Lauren nodded in understanding. She had known Erin for a longer time then I had. Obviously she knew of Erin's male behavioral patterns. "So...uh...Lauren, what's up?", Justin said breaking the uncomfortable silence that had settled after JC left. Just give it up, kid. "Excuse me". Lauren ran over to Jess. Jess was sitting by herself on a chair. "Okay". Justin looked confused. "Lauren's really shy". It wasn't my place to explain, but I felt Justin needed an explaination. Lauren was certainly not planning on giving him one. Joey's arms came around my waist from behind. "How's it going, Sailor". Joey chuckled. "Shhh. Joey's around here somewhere you don't want him to find us together. He'll hear you". Joey's arms released me. "You just tell that Sailor that he's gonna hafta find himself a different women". "Why's that?". "Cuz I've already marked you as my territory". I slapped Joey's stomach lightly. Then I jumped into the pool. Another splash followed me. I assumed it was Joey. When my head came out of the water I noticed that Jess was talking to Lance. I guess they had some kind of friendly connection. I also noticed that Lauren was sitting by herself now. She must have moved when Lance sat with Jess. One of these days Lauren is going to curse her shyness. There are so many things she's missing out on. Like the very attractive celebs that were everywhere on the ship. Joey's arms grabbed me from behind, holding tightly on my waist. "Hello beautiful", I said softly into his ear. He smiled. I could feel it. "Hey yourself". I pulled on Joey's arms making him loosen his grip. Then I turned around and kissed Joey sweetly. Joey looked worried all of a sudden. "Is Lauren going to be okay?", he asked. That was the sweetest thing I had ever heard. He was worried about my friend. They didn't even know each other and she was not terribly friendly but he worried. I smiled. "She's going to be fine". I ran my fingers through his hair. "You're so sweet". "What makes you say that?". "Cuz you care". "About what?". "Everything". Joey smiled. "I don't care about everything". "Oh?". "No, I don't perticularly like that sailor guy. He is after my woman". I laughed out loud. Then I hugged Joey tightly. "You have absolutely nothing to worry about". When I pulled away from Joey I back floated. Joey did the same while reaching for my hand. I gladly gave it to him with a smile. He could have one of those too. The moment was perfect. I thought to soon. I heard Lauren scream and cuss. Then I heard a loud slapping noise and the sound of someone scurrying away. I stood in the water releasing Joey's hand. He stood next to me. Everybody around the pool looked shocked. Especially Justin, who happened to have a very red cheek. Lauren was missing. "What happened?", I asked breaking the stunned silence. All eyes wandered to Justin. "Don't look at me", he said. "Your friends the psycho". I walked up the stairs in the pool and slapped Justin's other cheek. Then I grabbed my towel and ran after Lauren. I hoped she was in our room. Joey didn't follow me. I was glad. He could obviously tell that him being there would cause more problems them it would fix. Even though we had that bet he gave Lauren and I some privacy. He was such a sweetheart. I opened the door to my room and saw Lauren crying on her bed. I walked over to her and sat on the other side of the bed. "What happened?". My voice was filled with sympathy. "Where's your other half?". Lauren's voice was bitter. Much more then I had ever heard from her. "What are you talking about?". This was confusing. Whatever had happened with Justin had upset her and now she was taking it out on me. "Oh come on, Lana. You've known him for five days. I know you for at least that long in years. You won't even pay attention to Jess and I. It's almost like we don't exist to you anymore", Lauren spat out angrily. "I invited you to go swimming", I whispered meekly. "Wow, should I be praising you now. You spend a couple of minutes near me. But who else is there Joey and his dumbass friends". "What happened with Justin?". I tried hard not to let emotion into my voice. It'd only fuel the fire more. "Why do you care?". "Lauren, I'm your friend". "Then act like it damnit!". "I am acting like a friend". "Fine you wanna know? I'll tell you". There was a long pause. Lauren sighed heavily. This was bad. I could feel it in my bones. Justin had done the one thing he shouldn't have. The worst thing anyone could ever do to Lauren. The thing that had turned her shy in the first place. He...he...he...
