Dina: "Too right it's here! The build up has finished and now it's crunch time. Tonight we will meet 9 new housemates, who will live in that house for up to a possible 45 days, and remember - only one of them will be crowned the winner."
Nina: "Now we've seen the house, in its sneak previews, we've heard about a few little details but there is one big twist tonight.. involving the 9th housemate"
Dina: "Indeed. But before we get to that let's have a look at the house in its entirity. According to my earpiece you should be seeing images from the gallery live, right now."
Ok, so now you're seeing the entrance. Very wooden and modern, the doors are peach this year, giving the entrance a nice warm, cosy feeling to it. We want our housemates to settle in well at first.
As you can tell the lounge is very pink and orange, more bright, welcoming colours, which gives the first impressions off to be comfortable, however, they are designed so that the welcoming feel wears off after time. We also have a plasma screen for special live feeds.
The kitchen is also bright and colourful and is very modern. There is a breakfast bar, which is illuminated in pink. There's a fridge, sink, cooker and an espresso maker for when the housemates are feeling a little tired and need some energy.
The dining table has 9 seats to accomodate all the housemates. Again the furnishings are pink and bright, and the dining area will remain well lit with lights above it. The seats are in rows so that the housemates are facing each other at all times.
This is the diary room, with a double yellow seat to accomodate multiple sims in the room at one time. We also have some nice... erm... pictures above the seat hanging on the wall. Remember this place is completely private from the house.
The crowd lets up a massive cheer
...(Chuckles) to come up onto the stage and give thier opinions on the latest series, and what they're looking forward to. Go get one Nina!
Nina goes off in search and comes back with 21 year old, Julie
Dina: - "So, Julie, welcome to the stage. What type of housemates are you wanting to see in this series?"
Julie: - "Controversial, loud, dynamic, unique... very different basically, we need a contrasting bunch so they conflict with each other"
Nina - "What have you made of the house then, now you've seen it?"
Julie: - "Well... it's very pink! Yeah, I think it is nice, it looks a little to comfortable, but I am sure the brightness will begin to wear on thier eyes after a few weeks"
Dina - "Finally, what do you think the 9th housemate is?"
Julie: - "I don't have the slightest, a celebrity or something?"
Nina: "I think it's time to send the housemates in now, the carpools are approaching the house with the 8 housemates in, yes, 8 that wasn't a mistake. But before they pull into the drive, let me share a few things with you:
- Every week a different housemate will be voted into the luxury bedroom by the other housemates. But what they don't know is that gaining entrance to the luxury bedroom also gains them immunity to the next eviction, so any votes made for them are void.
- The starting prize fund is $0. They have to earn thier prize fund, a maximum of $100,000, through special challenges every Sunday.
- In the weekly tasks, the housemates have to place a stake upon thier sucess between 40% and 100%. This stake is how much of thier shopping budget they are risking. After they found out thier task they decide how well they will do, and depending on thier analysis of the task in hand they will bet a stake respecitively. If they fail that percentage is taken off the shopping budget, if they pass, the money remains at $20 per head per day.
Dina: "The message I am getting is that the carpools are here, yes, they are, our first housemate is 19 year old, Casey!

Meanwhile, as Tyler talks to Ruth, the other housemates begin to speculate that he is greeting the housemates first to get on thier side early on in the game, whether that is true or not still remains unanswered.

Queen? Queen!? yeah, you may laugh but its better than Anne-Marie. I never liked my parents for that, but I get money from them, so who cares? I'm a tillworker in a supermarket, nice job ain't it? It's hard work, doing all those sums, I still can't do my 9 times tables. You don't need to have knowledge anyway, waste of time. Sim Sister: "During your stay you will be our brother, the Sim Brother. You will have second hand control on the house. You are the only person allowed to discuss nominations. You also have privelidge to the luxury bedroom for the first week.... <<<
Amy: "What's up Case, you seem down"
Casey: "I'll talk later, babes.. just a few things..."
Amy: "Ok, make sure you tell me though, I don't wanna see people upset 'round here"
Casey: "It's ok.. least we got a f... a... another guy in here"
Dudley: "I'm sure a celeb is going to jump straight into bed with you on national TV (chuckles)"
Queen: "He will... trust me... he'll be all over me"
Dudley: "Bets or what?... Didn't think you were so confident honey. Just be wise... be wise..."
