Nissan Z Cars
350Z
Z car heritage dates back to 1969 when the Datsun 240ZX was introduced.  It was intended to be an affordable sports car, which, at $3,500, it was.  Ten years later, in 1979, the 280ZX debuted and was chosen as Motor Trend's Import Car of the Year.  Both the 240ZX and the 280 ZX had 150bhp.  In 1984, the 160bhp V-6 300ZX was introduced at just over $15,000.  The fourth-gen ZX had a 220bhp base NA engine and a massive 300bhp turbo engine.  However, in 1996, Nissan took the idolized Z car away from us.  Luckily, Nissan realized their blunder and is bringing it back as the completely redesigned 350Z with the VQ35DE V-6 rated at 287bhp.
