Falling Into Love

Chapter 27:

"So what do ya'll want to do?" Stacy asked after the guys had left.

"Let's just hang out here and talk. We really haven't gotten to do
that." Jana suggested. Leah and Stacy both agreed.

"I have first topic too!" Stacy said. "What kept you two out past two a.m.??" Stacy asked. They both laughed and Jana said she would go first.

"Well, after we left ya'll at the arena we went out to the beach where we took a long romantic walk by the water. Then we set up a blanket and he brought some food and we sat out under the stars talking. Then he gave me this necklace," Jana said pulling hers out from under her shirt.

"Oh yeah I got one of those too." Leah said pulling it out from her shirt.

"Lance gave me mine on our one month. But that didn't keep you out till all hours of the night." Stacy said prodding Jana for more information.

"No, it didn't. After he gave me the necklace he handed me another box. Inside it was a beautiful picture frame with a picture of us at the Ft. Lauderdale concert. Then there was one last box. Inside it was this." Jana said holding out her right hand with the ring on it. She explained to them what it meant.

"That's so sweet!" Stacy said. "I'm so happy for you both. He needed someone like you in his life."

"Ok Leah, it's your turn spill it!" Jana said. Leah told them about dancing in the parking lot and the picture frame with the tulips. They spent the rest of the afternoon talking like this.

***Arena***

"Is everything set up for tonight?" Lance asked.

"Yup, we have a private room at the best restaurant in Tampa, a few friends, our girls, and us." Chris said. Joey walked by as they were talking bout the party. "Joey," Chris yelled after him. "Do you have a date for tonight?"

"Nah man, I decided to go stag cause I know there will be some fine women there and I want to be able to move around. Ya know what I mean." Lance and Chris just laughed at him as he kept walking. Chris turned back to
Lance, "So how hard is it really?"

"How hard is what?"

"Letting her go." Chris said simply.

"I'm not going to lie to you, it's probably the worst feeling in the world. But, you work it out. You call each other and e-mail all the time. I always kept a picture of her with me and by my bed." Lance told him. Letting go of Stacy was always the hardest thing he did. He couldn't help smiling slightly to himself. He was so glad she was on the road with them and that in a short time they would be man and wife. "If it's worth it you will find a way to make it work." He said putting a hand on Chris' shoulder.

"It's definitely worth it."

Chapter 28:

Stacy, Leah, and Jana were still in the hotel room an hour later talking, when there was a knock on the door. Stacy got up to open it. "There are 3 packages for this room." The bell hop said.

"Oh, ok, I'll take them." Stacy said reaching out for them. Jana and Leah got up to help her. "I wonder what these are." Stacy looked down at the one on top. "Leah this one has your name on it." She handed that one to Leah then handed Jana the one with her name on it and the third was Stacy's. They started opening them and Jana got hers out first.

"Well, I know who their from." Jana said picking hers up.

"Who?" Leah asked finally opening her package.

"The guys. Specifically Chris." Jana said. She started pulling hers
out of the box. It was a beautiful silver dress and under the left strap was a small diamond studed Kanji, the symbol for Chris' clothing line FuMan Skeeto. Leah and Stacy's were like Jana's but all of them were different. Jana's was the only one with a kanji on it. Leah's was blue while Stacy's was red. Jana looked back into the box and found a note. 'Meet us at our spot in the hotel lobby after the concert, around midnight. Wearing these.' Jana read the note aloud.

***12, Midnight***

The guys finished their concert and headed straight for the bus. They put their clothes for the night in there earlier and planned on getting showered and changed on their way to the hotel. They split up into different buses so it wouldn't take as long. When they arrived at the hotel they were escorted into the lobby, doing their best to get through without too many stops in the crowd. As they finally got in they were taken to a private part of the lobby so they could wait in peace. They were all standing around waiting for the girls to arrive. When they heard the door open they all spun around to look. Stacy, Leah, and Jana walked in wearing the dresses that had been sent up. Justin let out a low whistle "You girls look great." He told them. Lance, Chris, and JC walked over to them.

"You really do look beautiful." Lance told Stacy. "Do you like the dress?"

"Like it I love it! It's perfect in every way. Thank you for it." She said giving him a tender kiss.

"Are ya'll ready to go?" Joey asked a couple minutes later.

"Yeah lets get outta here and have some good times!" Justin said. They all headed for the back of the hotel. There was usually less of a crowd there. As they walked out of the door they saw two limos waiting there for them. They split up and climbed into them and headed off.

"You look amazing tonight." Jana said to Chris as they drove down the road. She put her hand in his and stared into his eyes.

"So do you. You look like an angel." He leaned in and gave her a kiss. When they got to the restaurant they were immediately taken to the back room. Most everyone else was already there. They had invited all of the crew and the band. Some of their friends in the area and of course their security. They all went in and greeted everyone. After a few moments they were seated for dinner. There was a band in the corner playing the whole time also in case anyone wanted to dance. They danced, ate, and drank the night away. Around 2 a.m. the band they hired got off and *Nsync's band got up there for a special number. Everyone but the guys and Jana, Leah, and Stacy left the floor. The band began to play and Lance, JC, and Chris brought the girls out to the floor. They held them close and sang with the music.

As the song ended the guys leaned in and gave their girl a kiss. Dre walked over to Joey when the song was over and tapped him on the shoulder. "We've waited as long as we could but now we've really gotta go. Should I break this up or do one of you want to do it?" He asked pointing to the 3 couples still on the floor.

"Nah Dre, you're here to protect us and now you're trying to send us over there to get us killed. I don't think so. This one's yours." Justin said back away. Dre went over to JC and Leah first and tapped JC on the shoulder.

"This better be important." JC said as he reluctantly pulled back from Leah.

"Sorry C," Dre said. "We've got to go though. We're already running a little late."

"Ok, we're headed out." JC said as he and Leah left the dance floor. Dre went over to break the news to Chris and Lance. Everyone headed out the door to the limos that would take them back to the hotel.

JC and Leah got out of the limo and stood there looking at each other. "I don't want to let you go." He said.

"I don't want you to." Leah said as she fell into his arms. He pulled her close and tight. She laid her head on his shoulder and a few tears excaped her eye. "I'm going to miss you so much." He pulled her back and looked into her eyes. He then took her hand and they walked over to the bus. She leaned against the bus and he leaned down and kissed her. "Call me when you get there......or before." He kissed her one last time.

Chris and Jana were standing a few feet away just looking into each others eyes. Chris moved in closer and brought her into an embrace. "Don't let go, Chris." Jana told him.

I'll never let go of you. No matter how far apart we really are I'll always be holding you. That's what this is for." He said pointing to her ring.

"Yeah, everytime I look at it I'll think of you and the most wonderful week of my life so far. I want to give you something to remember me." Jana said as she started to take off the silver karma bracelet she always wore.

"Jana, no that's your favorite bracelet. Keep it." Chris said trying to stop her from taking it off.

"Yeah it's my favorite bracelet, that's why I want you to have it. If I miss it then I'll just have one more reason to think of you." Jana said with a smile and put the bracelet on his arm. She looked up and he brought his face to hers and they kissed goodbye.

"You know the bus is going to be awfully empty without you and Leah on there." Chris said as they pulled out of the kiss. Just then Lance, Stacy, Joey, and Justin walked by going to the bus. They each gave Jana and Leah a hug good bye then walked onto the bus. JC and Chris were the last two on. They stood there as long as they possibly could looking at Jana and Leah. Finally they turned and went back on to the bus. Leah and Jana stood there watching the bus as it started to drive off. They saw the two side windows open up and everyone stuck their head out for one last good bye. Jana and Leah stood there and watched untill they couldn't see the bus anymore. They turned and looked at one another both had tears in their eyes. The returned to the car and drove back in silence.

Chapter 29:

***3 Weeks Later***

"So what are you doing this weekend?" Chris asked. Jana and Chris managed to talk at least 2 times a week. Otherwise they would e-mail each other. JC and Leah also did their best to call each other and e-mail. They still got to talk to Stacy often over the computer.

"Well, tonight Justin and I are going to see a movie together. Then tomorrow night I'm spending the night at Leah's cause her parents are out of town visiting family and her sister is at a friends house. She doesn't like to stay their alone since they live out in the middle of Blair Witch county!" Jana said laughing. Leah lived in a very wooded area so Jana said it was like from the Blair Witch Project.

"That sounds fun." He told her. "Hang on just a sec ok." Jana could hear Chris on the other end talking to someone but not enough to understand anything. "Hey honey I've gotta go. There's something messed up on stage. I'm sorry to cut this short. I'll call you again as soon as I can. I miss you."

"It's ok go take care of things so you can give the people the best show possible. I miss you too and can't wait to hear from you again." Everytime she hung up with hm she felt like she was having to let him go all over again. She went over and turned on the radio in her room ".....I'm not that innocent!" came out of the speakers. 'Oh darn missed it' Jana said to herself.

"And now here's the latest by *Nsync, rumor is that they have started dedicating this to 3 special fans at every concert but they never name the fans. Most people figure that one of them is Lance's fiancee. He announced his engagement at the Ft.Lauderdale concert last month. Who the other two are we'll just have to keep guessing at." The DJ announced and the song started to play. Jana picked up the picture of her and Chris and held it close. She started to cry once again.

***The Next Day***

Leah reached over to answer the phone. "Hello?................Hello???.................Anybody there???" Leah
said into the phone. She finally hung up. "No one was there."

"Random." Jana said and turned the vloume back up on the movie they were watching. They were really getting into the movie when Jana heard a noise downstairs. It sounded like knocking. She looked at Leah who was staring at her. "Did you hear that?" Jana asked.

"Yeah."

"It's someone knocking."

"Yeah."

"Are we going to go see who it is?"

"No."

"What if it's Angela?

"Yeah and what if it's the hitcher???"

"Good point." Jana said. They heard the knocking once more.

"Ok, hold on." Leah said and ran into her room. She soon came back into the playroom where Jana was. She was carrying her baton.

"What are you going to do??? Twirl them to death??" Jana said when she saw the baton.

"Hey these things can really hurt!" Leah said as she headed downstairs with Jana close behind. They went down the hall and Leah peeked around the corner. She turned back to Jana wide eyed. "There's no one there."

"What??? Someone knocked they have to be there." Jana said. "Go look out of the window."

"I don't think so! You go look."

"Fine hold on." Jana ran into the living room and came back with the poker from the fireplace. She slowly walked towards the door. Jana suddenly dropped the poker and dashed to the door. She was trying to get it open.

"What?? What is it??" Leah was asking her. Jana didn't respond and finally opened the door and ran out. Leah slowly walked towards the door and she saw Jana out there. She looked closer and noticed she was huggin someone. She kept walking and finally saw who it was. She walked faster and just to the right of them was JC holding a dozen tulips. She ran out and embraced him tightly. "What are you doing here??" Leah was finally
able to ask. She was laughing and crying at the same time.

"Well, we couldn't stand being away from you two any longer." JC explained. They looked over at Jana and Chris who were kissing and hadn't let up yet. "I've missed you so much, Leah." She turned to look at him and they kissed once more. Jana and Chris finally let up and all four walked into the house.

"How long can you stay?" Jana asked.

"Only the night. We have to fly out tomorrow afternoon." They walked upstairs and Jana and Chris went in to Angela's room and JC and Leah went into Leah's room.

Chapter 30:

***Next 2 Scenes Happen Simultaneously***

As soon as Jana closed the door Chris grabbed her and kissed her again. "I missed you too." Jana said with a laugh.

"I've missed you so much. I've never missed anyone like I miss you." He leaned down and kissed her again.

"Why don't you go change and we'll get caught up when you get back." Jana said pushing him to the door. He went to the bathroom and quickly changed into some more comfortable clothes. As he was coming out he ran into JC, who was headed for the bathroom. "Man I'm so glad we did this. I didn't realize how much I missed her till I saw her again." Chris said.

"Yeah I know what you mean." JC said. He went on into the bathroom and Chris went back in with Jana. When Chris walked in the room Jana was sitting on the bed crying.

"What's wrong, baby?" He asked rushing over to her.

"I was just thinking about how great it was that you're here. Then it hit me that you are just going to be leaving again tomorrow." He held her close. She felt so wonderful in his arms, like they just melted together. Chris reached over and turned on the radio. When it came on the cd started to play. He was surprised to find it was their cd.

"You were playing our cd?"

"Yeah we were missing ya'll so we put it in. Play our song." Chris reached over and turned on track 10. The music slowly filled the room. Jana was still laying in Chris' arms and he was singing to her softly. He suddenly stopped singing and Jana looked up at him. "Why'd you stop? You sounded wonderful."

"There's something I wanted to tell you, and I feel now is the perfect time." She sat up and turned to face him.

"What is it?" She asked.

"These past three weeks have given me a chance to really think and the one thing that I came to realize is that life without you is hell. I have missed you every second of every day since we pulled off that night. I miss everything about you. Your smile, your kiss, the way you look at me when I'm acting goofy, but most of all I miss sitting on the bus with you in my arms. When I finally realized what I had in you it was perfect. The world seemed a better place. Then I had to give you up and I don't want to ever have to do that again. What I'm trying to say here is that Jana, I love you and I want to marry you." He finished and pulled out a small velvet box that held the most beautiful diamond ring.

***Leah's Room***

Leah and JC went to her room and as soon as the door closed she collapsed in his arms crying. "Don't cry, angel." He told her.

"It's ok. They are tears of sheer joy. I can't believe you are actually here."

"Me either. I have missed you so much."

"I have missed you too." She said. He leaned down and gave her a passionate kiss.

"Now stop crying, I like to look into your beautiful eyes and they are hard to see when you're crying." Leah laughed and slapped him playfully on the arm. "Ok, I'm going to go change real quick, but, I'll be right back. No more crying." JC walked into the hallway and ran into Chris, who was coming out of the bathroom.

"Man I'm so glad we did this. I didn't realize how much I missed her till I saw her again." Chris said.

"Yeah I know what you mean." JC said. He went into the bathroom and quickly changed as Chris headed back down the hall. Once he finished he went back in with Leah. She was sitting up on the bed now. He walked in and just stared at her. 'She looks so beautiful' he thought.

"Are you just going to stand there?" She asked looking up at him and smiling. He shook his head and crawled into the bed with her. She leaned in next to him and they just sat like that holding one another. Soon they heard the music from the other room and JC stood up and offered his hand to Leah.

"Dance with me?" He asked simply. She nodded and stood up. She rested her head on his shoulder and the slowly moved around the room dancing to the music. They were suddenly jolted back when they heard Jana scream.

"What was that?!?" Leah said looking at JC who was slightly laughing.

"I can't believe he did it." He said.

Chapter 31:

***2 Months Later***

"Are you nervous?" Leah asked Stacy.

"Very!" Stacy said with a small laugh. "I just want everything to be perfect."

"It will be don't worry. You and Lance have worked hard for this, so there's no way it'll be anything but." She gave Stacy a reassuring hug.

"I got it!" Jana said rushing into the room holding up a small diamond earring. "He lent it to ya with no problems at all. I think he actually felt semi-honored." Stacy took the earring and pinned it to the inside of her dress.

"Ok, there's the something borrowed. Let's see, something old are my mother's earrings. Something new is the dress. Something blue is my garter belt. I think I got it all covered. Are we ready to go?" Stacy asked looking in the mirror one last time.

"I believe so." Jana peeked out of the door to make sure no one was around. "Ok, coast clear." Everyone made their way out of the room. Leah, Jana, Stacy-Lance's sister-and Lisa, a friend of Stacy's from back home were all there as bridesmaids. They were each dressed in a beautiful blue. They all made their way to the front of the church. The music began to play and they started down the aisle. Standing at the end of the aisle was Lance, Joey, Justin, Chris, and JC all in their tuxes each looking handsome. As Stacy made her way to the man of her dreams she looked around. Everything really had turned out perfect. The red and white roses and the blue candles. It was like a dream. She was completely lost in it all. Before she knew it, it was time to say their vows. The organist started playing their song and the guys behind Lance softly sang.

"Stacy, you have been a huge part of my life these last two and a half years. I don't think I could have made it if you hadn't been here for me to lean on. We put out this song around the same time we started dating. Every word of it is true about you. I believe God truly did spend a little more time on you. I love you with all of my heart, soul, and mind. One hundred percent of me is in love with you." Lance finished as he placed the ring on her finger.

"Lance, from the day I first met you I knew there was something special about you. I also had a feeling you would become a huge part of my life. You are my best friend. There is no one else on this Earth that I could even think about loving more than I love you. I love you with all my heart, soul, and mind. One hundred percent of me is in love with you." She slipped his ring onto his finger.

"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." The minister said. Lance leaned down and took Stacy in his arms and kissed her. They then turned and headed out of the church. As Leah and JC walked out her leaned over and whispered to her.

"Before we leave I need to talk to you." Leah just nodded an ok.

***15 Minutes Later***

After taking the wedding pictures everyone went to change for the "reception." Lance and Stacy had decided not to have a formal reception. Instead them along with Jana and Leah and the other 4 guys were all going to go down to the beach and have a picnic and go wave running and water skiing and just have a fun afternoon. They wouldn't be leaving for their honeymoon untill the next day.

Leah was one of the first to finish changing. She left the room to find JC and was surprised when he was standing out side waiting on her. "So what did you need to talk about?" She asked.

"I was thinking while I watched Lance make the best move of his life. They both looked so happy. They were in love. I looked at Lance's face and I saw something familiar. It was the same thing I saw in my face everytime I thought about you. It was a look of love. Leah, I love you so much and it's about time I told you I did." JC had never told anyone else he loved them and Leah knew this. He wanted to know for sure in his heart it was truly love he felt. A tear fell down Leah's face.

"JC, I've loved for so long but wasn't sure I should say it yet. I was afraid it was too early. But, I felt it with you on our first date. I knew you would be the man I fell in love with, for real." He leaned over and kissed her. She had just made him happier than anyone ever had.

"There's one more thing. When I was younger I made this bracelet and I said I would only give it to the woman I love. I've never given it away before. But, now I want you to wear it." He slipped it off his arm and onto hers. They kissed once more and headed outside, hand in hand, where everyone else was waiting. They all piled into Jana and Lance's cars. Chris was in the front next to Jana. He leaned over to her and took her hand whispering in her ear.

"So, when do you think we should tell them we eloped last night?"

"Later, this is their day." She smiled and leaned over and kissed her new husband.
