Falling Into Love

Chapter 16:

Leah, Jana, and Stacy got out of the pool to try and get some sun.� A few minutes later JC walked over to Leah.� "Do you still wanna go to lunch?"� He�asked smiling down at her.

"Oh, gosh it is getting about that time.� Yeah I do, I just to go up and shower and all that.� I'll meet you in the lobby about 12?"

"Ok I'll be there."� JC went to gather his stuff up as Leah headed
upstairs.

***Girls Suite***

Leah had just picked up her purse and was headed towards the door when someone knocked on it.� When she opened it up JC was standing there in jeans and a blue and white, checked, button down shirt.� It really brought out the blue in his eyes.� "I thought we were supposed to meet downstairs."� Leah said.

JC looked at Leah as she opened the door.� She was in jeans, something she barely ever wore, and a denim shirt that zipped up.� She looked beautiful.� JC couldn't speak.� He finally snapped out of it and realized she was talking to him.� "Oh umm, I wanted to be you're escort so I figured I should 'pick you up.'� Oh and these are for you."� JC brought his hand from around his back and had 6 beautiful purple and pink tulips.

"Oh JC!� These are beautiful!� How did you know that I liked tulips??"

"Let's just say a little birdie told me."� He said with a grin.

"You called Jana didn't you."

"Ok ok you caught me."� He took her hand and they stepped into the elevator.� Leah looked at him as the door closed.� He was so sweet and cute.� That made what she had to tell him so much harder.

***The Pool***

�� Stacy and Jana were still laying out on the side of the pool while the guys were still playing around in the water.� "Those are some really great guys out there."� Jana said.� Stacy looked up at them as Lance was raising Justin above his head to throw him in the water.

"Yeah they really are.� I've never met anyone like them.� Which reminds� me what's up with you and Chris?"

"What do you mean?� Chris and I are just friends."

"That's not what it looked like last night."� Stacy said lowering her sunglasses so she could look at Jana.

"What do you mean?"� Jana asked thinking back to last night, trying to figure out what Stacy was talking about.

"Right before Lance, Justin, and Joey got there.� I walked out of my room and you two were looking awfully close.� Holding hands, staring into each other's eyes."� Stacy said laughing at Jana.� Both girls then started laughing.

"THAT?? That was nothing!� We were just talking.� He was sad about Heather.� Which reminds me, even if I did have feelings for him, he's still not over her.� There's no way I would get involved in that triangle."� Jana looked back at the guys.� They were getting out of the pool and heading their way.

"Well, girls, ya'll wanna get some lunch?� We've gotta go practice soon."� Chris asked.� He looked over at Jana.� He wasn't sure why but he thought she looked exceptionally pretty right now.� 'Do I like her?� No I couldn't, Heather is the one for me.� Isn't she?'� Chris thought to himself.

"Sounds good I'm starving.� Ya'll wanna go somewhere or order up?"� Jana asked.� They decided to go ahead and order up so they wouldn't have to worry about disquises.

***Restaurant***

Leah and JC finally decided where to go for lunch.� Gloria Estefan owned a place down there and JC knew they could get a back table so the could be alone.� They were just sitting down when they heard someone yell JC's name. 'Oh great,'� Leah thought� 'Just what I didn't want.� Some little teeny bopper screaming and crying.'� She turned to wait on JC, she knew he wouldn't say no, he was way to nice.� She looked to see the girl and was in complete shock when she saw.� It was Gloria Estefan.

"Hey Gloria!� How are you?"� JC said giving her a hug.

"I'm good how are you?� I hear ya'll have a concert here tonight."

"We're all doing good.� Yeah we do have a concert."

"Well, I'll be there cheering you guys on."

"Really, thats great I know the rest of the guys will love seeing you again.� HEY!� Since you'll be there anyway why not do a special performance with us?"

"Oh I would LOVE that!"

"Great I'll set everything up.� Oh, I almost forgot, Gloria, this is
Leah, Leah, Gloria."�

"Hi Leah, it's nice to meet you."� Gloria said extending her hand to shake Leah's.� Leah collected herself enough to shake Gloria's hand.� She couldn't believe she was meeting Gloria Estefan.

"Well, I'll let you two get back to your lunch.� It was nice to meet you Leah and I'll talk to you later JC."� Gloria and JC hugged one more time and she left.

"WOW!� I can't believe that!� How do you get used to it??"� Leah asked after Gloria left.

"You don't really get used to meeting stars.� But, after you get to know the person you kinda forget.� But, today is not about them it's about us."� JC said as he took her hand and led her to the table.� Leah and JC sat down and ordered their food.� They continued to talk but Leah was a little more quiet than usual.� JC noticed this.� "Leah what's wrong?� You seem a little out of it."

"Well, there was something I needed to talk to you about."� Leah said looking back down at her plate.

***Girls Suite***

"Well, girls we gotta roll"� Justin said as he stood up from the couch. "They'll be expecting us for practice."

"Yeah, ya'll gonna come watch us tonight?� It's gonna rock!"� Joey said.

"You know we'll be there!"� Jana said� "We can't get enough"

"Well, bye ya'll.� Justin I gotta get something outta the room will ya come with me?"

"Sure.� Bye girls.� We'll see ya tonight."

"Yeah, bye ya'll.� Lance, Chris we'll see ya there."� Joey said.� Justin and Joey headed out the door.

Lance and Chris went to say thier goodbye's also.� "Stacy, I'll see you tonight.� Ya'll have some fun this afternoon.� There's so much to do here."� Lance said and then leaned down and gave her a kiss.

"I'm sure we'll find something to occupy our time.� I believe there was a mall near here."� Stacy said.� Lance just laughed at her.

While Lance and Stacy were saying goodbye Chris walked over to say good bye to Jana.� "Thanx for coming to the show tonight.� It really means a lot."

"It's no problem.� I really enjoy the shows, they are so much fun.� Plus, I love watching ya'll up there.� You have so much fun."� Jana gave him a hug goodbye.� "Break-a-leg tonight!� But, not really."� She said winking at him.

"Thanx we'll go our best, especially with you, Stacy, and Leah cheering us on."� Chris said as he leaned down and gave her another hug.� As he came back up he gave her a kiss on the cheek.� He didn't realize what he was doing till it was too late.� He came up and just looked at her.� Neither knew what to say.

"Come on Chris we gotta go."� Lance said to him as he and Stacy pulled out of their embrace.� Chris let go of Jana's hands and walked out behind Lance.� Stacy watches them go and then looks back at Jana.

"HELLO??? Earth to Jana!� Are you still with me??"� Stacy asked waving her hand in front of Jana's face.� "What happened to you?"

"Chris kissed me...it was just on the cheek but there was something behind it.� Something more than just a friendly kiss."� Jana was still kinda out of it, she didn't know what to think.

"Oh wow, so, I know we talked about this earlier but, do you think you could possibly like him like that?"

"I don't know I never thought of him like that.� I mean he's just been a friend.� Heather has always been a factor so I didn't let myself think about him like that."� Jana said.� She turned to go into her room she needed think by herself for a little while.

***Restaurant***

"What is it?� Is something wrong?"� JC asked.� He was getting concerened.

"Well, sorta, ummm oh gosh how do I say this?"� Leah said more to herself than JC.� "Ok here goes.� JC you are a really great guy and I� really do like�you.� But, right now I can't start another relationship.� I'm not completely over Jeff yet.� I don't think it's fair to start something with you if I can't put my whole heart into it.� I hope you understand."� Leah finally was able to look up at him.� She couldn't tell what he was thinking.� She wished
he would say something, anything...

"Here, I've gotta go."� JC said throwing the keys down on the table and leaving the restaurant.

...anything but that.� All Leah could do is watch him leave.� She felt the tears rush to her eyes.

***Guys Suite***

"So Joey what is it you needed to get so bad??"� Justin asked as they got to the room.

"Nothing I just needed to talk to you man.� Do you know if there is
anything going on between Jana and Chris.� Besides friendship of course."

"Well, according to both of them it's just friendship.� I really haven't seen signs of anything else.� Why??� Do you like her??"� Justin asked nudging his friend.

"Yeah, she's really sweet and pretty.� I was thinking of asking her out but I don't wanna go after her if Chris likes her."

"Go for it man!� Chris would have said something already if he liked her like that.� Plus he's still hooked on Heather."

"Yeah I think I will.� She's the type of girl that could tame me."� Joey said wiggling his eyebrows.

"Tame you??� Boy ain't no girl eva gonna be able to do that!"� Justin said laughing.

"Ok so maybe not but we could have some fun.� I may just have to let this charm ooze on out."� Joey said with a wink.

"Dude!� Where do you get these things???� You are so wack!"� Justin said as he pushed Joey towards the door.

***Colesium 20 Minutes Later***

"Where is JC he was supposed to meet us here 10 minutes ago.� It's not like him to be late."� Lance said.

"He went with Leah to lunch he's probably lost all track of time.� Have you seen them two together?� He forgets what else is going on when she's around."� Chris said.� Lance pulled out his cell phone to call JC, just as he finished dailing JC walked in the door.

"Hey C where ya been?"� Justin asked.

"Oh um I was just out walking and I lost track of time.� Ya'll ready to practice?"� JC said as he walked past the guys.� They knew something was wrong but the also knew he wouldn't talk till he was ready.

***Girl's Suite***

Leah picked up her phone and just looked at it.� She took a deep breath and dialed his number.

"Hello?"� She heard him say.

"Hi"

"Leah?� Is that you?"

"Yeah Jeff, it's me.� How are you?"

"I'm ok.� I'm really glad you called.� I've been trying to get in touch with you since you ran out of the restaurant.� I guess you didn't go home afterwards."

"No, I went over to Jana's house.� I should have stayed and talked but I couldn't.� Ya know ever since you moved to Texas we've talked about you coming home and us getting back together.� Us getting married.� Then you come home and tell me that you're engaged to someone else.� I couldn't handle it."��Leah tried her best to hold back her tears.

"Leah, from the moment I moved to Texas I knew it was a big mistake. Leaving you was the hardest thing I had ever done.� I thought about you everyday.� Then this past year I met Misty.� We started out just friends and then it grew to more.� I thought of you still, but I realized that I was thinking about the old you.� We were both moving on and growing up.� We were changing.� The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I wasn't in love with the Leah that you are now, I was in love with the Leah I met in high school.� I was in love with the relationship, not the person.� Then Misty and I started dating and we were great together.� As great as we were.� Leah, you will always be a huge part of my life and you will always hold a special place in my heart as my first true love, but, it's not the same anymore.� I know if you'll think about it you'll realize what I'm talking about.� I would never hurt you on purpose."� Jeff finished and just waited for her to say something.� Anything.� Leah sat there in silence taking it all in.� She never really thought about them changing.� He was right they aren't the same people they were in high school.� She had found a great guy also that she could see herself having a future with.� This is the same thing Jeff had done.

"Jeff, I think you're right.� I do love you"� Leah was about to say more when she heard the door close.� Jana and Stacy must be home.� "Jeff, just a second I think Jana and Stacy are back.� Let me go check."� Leah walked out into the main room and didn't see anyone.� She called for Jana and Stacy but no one answered.� "I must have been wrong.� Anyway, I do love you but I think you're right.� We have both changed since high school.� I know that back then I could have never thought of finding someone else, but, I have found someone I can see a future with and so have you.� You will always be my best friend,�though."

"You better believe it.� There's nothing that can change that.� We'll always be friends."

***Guy's Suite***

The guys started practicing but, JC just wasn't into it.� He couldn't keep his mind off Leah.� They ended practice early.� They had done these routines so many times they knew them backwards and forwards.� Lance, Justin, and Chris stayed at the colesium to make sure everything was ok.� There wasn't anything to set up since they were just there the night before.

�Joey was watching tv in the main room when JC came in.� "Whoa man what's the hurry?� How did things go with Leah?"� When JC couldn't concentrate on the dace moves he told the guys what was going on.� Joey came back with him so someone would be there when he finished talking to Leah.� "You're back quick."

"Well, I heard all I needed to hear."�

"What did she say to you?"

"Well, I didn't actually talk to her."

***Stacy's Car***

"I'm worried about Leah."� Stacy said as she and Jana walked out of the mall.� Her and Jana had gone shopping for something to wear that night.� Jana didn't know why but she wanted to dress extra special tonight.

"Me too, but once she talks to Jeff and thinks things through she'll be better.� She just needs to fiugre out how she really feels."

"Speaking of how people really feel, what are you going to do about Chris?"

"Dang, I forgot all about that.� I don't even know.� He's a great guy, but, you've always got the Heather factor.� I really don't wanna get mixed up in that.� I don't want to be a rebound girlfriend ya know.� Maybe I'm just reading way too much into the simple little kiss.� But, I know there was more to it.� I could feel it."� Jana said.� Stacy started pulling out of the parking space when she suddenly slammed on the brakes.

"HOLD ON!"

"What happened???"� Jana said collecting herself.� She had been lunged forward but fortunately she was wearing her seatbelt so she didn't go far.

"Something ran in front of the car.� Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine.� Just hurt my neck a bit."

***Guys Suit***

"Wait, you didn't talk to her?"� Joey said trying to figure out� what�he was talking about.

"No I knocked on the door but no one answered.� I heard someone talking so I tried the door and it was unlocked.� I walked in and heard Leah talking on the phone.� She was talking to Jeff.� She told him she loved him.� Joey she still loves him.� There's no point in me trying anymore."

"JC you have to talk to her.� You have to get her side.� Make sure you heard her right."� Joey said trying to reason with him.

"I know what I heard and she said she loved him."� JC said as he left the room.� He needed some time to think.

Chapter 19:

Lance, Chris, and Justin returned from practice about 10 minutes later.� "Since we got done early I'm gonna stop by and see Stacy."� Lance said.� The girls suite was a couple floors below the guys.� The elevator stopped and Lance got off.

"How do you think things went with JC and Leah?"� Chris asked.

"Who knows.� I guess we'll find out soon tho."� Justin said as the
elevator doors opened.� Chris and Justin walked down to the room.� When they got in Joey was sitting on the couch watching tv and JC was nowhere to be seen.� "Hey man, whats up?"

"Nothing much.� Is everything ready for tonight?"

"Yeah things are great down there.� How's JC?"� Chris asked.

"Well, he's in his room now."� Joey said looking back towards his room. He filled Chris and Justin in on what happend that afternoon.

***Girl's Suite***

Lance knocked on the door to the girl's room.� Leah was inside still on the phone.� "Oh Jeff, there's someone at the door.� I'll be right back." Leah went and opened it and saw Lance standing there.� "Hey Lance.� Stacy's at the mall with Jana right now but you can come on in.� Just give me a sec, k?"� Lance nodded.� Leah went in and got off the phone with Jeff.� She felt better and more confident about what to do now.� She couldn't wait to talk to
JC.� "Ok sorry about that I had to get off the phone."

"Oh, thats ok.� Um, you said Stacy was out?"

"Yeah her and Jana went shopping.� According to Jana she had nothing to wear tonight."� Leah said with a laugh.� "Ya'll are done with practice early are ya?"

"Yeah, didn't JC come see you?� We finished early so he could come talk to you.� He told us what happened at lunch."

"No he didn't come see me.� OH WAIT!� I thought I heard someone come in earlier but I didn't see anyone.� That must have been him.� I've gotta go talk to him."� Leah said heading for the door.

***Main Lobby***

"Whew, shopping always wears me out."� Jana said as she and Stacy were waiting for the elevator.

"Yeah me too.� I really hope Lance likes the shirt I bought him.� The green should really bring out his eyes."� The girls got on the elevator and headed up.� As they were getting off they saw Leah running down the hall.

"HOLD THE ELEVATOR!"� She yelled.� Jana reached back and stopped the door from closing.

"What's the hurry?"

"Long story.� Lance in room.� He'll explain.� JC.� Wrong Idea.� Gotta..."�The door closed before she could finsh.

"Well, ok!"� Jana and Stacy looked at each other in confusion.� Then headed to the room.� Stacy opened the door.� Lance was sitting on the couch looking through a magazine.� "Hey honey!� This is a nice surprise."� Stacy said as she gave him a hug.� "Do you know what was up with Leah?"

"Not exactly.� Something about JC over hearring her conversation and she had to talk to him.� How did shopping go?� Ya'll find some good stuff?"

"Oh yeah.� We bought more than we should have.� But, that's not unusual! Oh and I got this for you."� Stacy said as she handed him the bag.� Jana took this time to sneak off to her room.� She figured they would want to be alone.� She also really needed to think through things about Chris.� She knew there was only one way to do that and that was to talk to her best friend.� She
picked up the phone and dialed Justin's number.

***Guy's Suite***

Leah got to the door and took a deep breath.� She hoped she was wrong and he hadn't really heard her conversation.� She timidly knocked on the door and Justin opened it.� "Hey Justin, is JC here?"

Justin looked back into the room before he answered.� "I'm sorry Leah, he's not here right now."� Justin felt so bad for her he knew she was hurting.� He could see it in her eyes.

"Oh, ok, well, if you see him please tell him I need to talk to him.
I'll be in my room till we have to leave for the concert."� With that she�turned and left.

Justin closed the door and turned around to look into the room with the other guys.� JC walked out of the back.� "JC you're going to have to talk to her.� It's not like she's going away anytime soon."

"I know, but not right now, ok?"

"Hey JC, I'm going to go for a drive why don't you go with me."� Chris knew JC needed to get away for a little while.� He really wanted to go talk to Jana but knew JC needed this more.� They headed out.� They walked to the car in silence.� "Do you wanna talk about it?"� Chris finally asked as they pulled out of the parking deck.� JC proceeded to tell Chris about what he heard that afternoon.

"Man, JC, you've gotta talk to her.� Joey was right.� You could have misunderstood."� Chris said once JC finished.

"I know I just need a little more time.� Can we talk about something else?� What's going on with you and Jana?"� JC asked.� He couldn't think about him and Leah anymore right now.

"Oh, I don't even know!� I think I did something bad this afternoon."

"Whats that?"

"I kissed her.� It was only on her cheek but I didn't want it there.� I just wanted to pick her up and kiss her, but, I didn't know how she would take it.� I didn't want to let her go.� I think I really like her.� But, I don't know if she feels the same about me.� Especially with her knowing all about Heather and all."

"Sounds like we both have someone to talk to."� JC said as he looked out the window.� Chris turned to go back to the coliseum.� The rode the rest of the way in silence.

Chapter 20:

JC and Chris got to the coliseum and started to get things together.� Joey, Lance, and Justin showed up a few minutes later.� They were all busy getting stuff ready and last minute rehearsing when JC saw Gloria coming in�one of the side entrances.� "OH CRAP I FORGOT!"� JC said suddenly messing up Joey and Justin who were practicing one of the songs.

"What?"� Justin asked.

"I asked Gloria to do our song with us tonight and I forgot to tell you guys.� Crap!"

"Don't worry about it.� She called the hotel this afternoon while you and� Chris were out and told us she had talked to you at lunch.� We figured everything out so it's ok."� Justin said calming JC down a good bit.

"Oh good.� Thanx guys."� JC went down to meet Gloria and find out what they had planned.

***Girl's Suite***

�Jana walked out of her room wearing her new outfit.� She was in some new dark blue jeans, flare cut jeans with flowers embroidered along the bottom of them.� She had on a silver Fuman shirt Chris had sent her in the mail after the Nashille concert.� He said he designed it just for his hero's.� He had sent one to Leah also.� "Wow Jana!� You look cute!"� Leah said when she saw her.

"Are we dressed up for any special reason???"� Stacy asked.

"Just felt like it."� Jana said with a wink.� They finished putting their stuff in the living room so it would be picked up and put on the bus then headed out the door.

***Coliseum 20 Minutes Later***

The girls arrived and Leah immediately started looking for JC.� She really wanted to talk to him before it was too late.� She finally spotted him talking to one of the crew guys.� "Ok, there he is.� Here I go.� Wish me luck!"� Leah said turning.

"Here we go one more time..."� Jana started singing.� Leah turned and glared at her.� "Sorry, it just popped out!"� Leah continued to glare.� "OK OK!� Sorry good luck!"� Leah turned again and headed over to JC.

"I hope he listens to her.� He can be pretty stubborn."� Stacy said

"Yeah well, so can Leah.� She won't give up till he does listen to her."

"JC, can I talk to you?"� Leah asked aprehensively.

"Excuse me,"� He said to the guy he had been talking to, "I've gotta go get ready for the show."� He said and started to walk away.

"Please JC!� I really need to talk to you!� It'll only take a minute."
Leah said reaching for his arm.� He turned and just looked at her waiting for her to speak.� "I know you heard me on the phone today.� I don't know what you heard but that's not the point.� I don't love Jeff tho.� Well, I love him just not that way.� We talked this afternoon and figured things out.� He's a� big part of my life and always will be but it's you I want to date now.� I have a past with him but I could have a future with you and I want to try for that."� JC was trying to understand what she was saying the best she could but Leah was just saying whatever came to her mind just so he wouldn't walk away.� He couldn't fully understand but he did hear she didn't love Jeff and wanted to try a future with him.� This was all he needed to hear.� He only knew of one way to stop her rambling so he grabbed her face and leaned down and kissed her.� When she and JC finally let go of one another Leah just looked at him, trying to collect herself.

"You wouldn't shutup."� JC said smiling at her.� Leah started to cry and he pulled her into a hug.

"I was so afraid I'd messed everything up."� Leah said starting to cry.

"I've never felt for a girl like I feel about you.� I know we've only known each other for a short amount of time but I can just feel it.� I know there is something special between us."� He leaned down and kissed her again.��Jana, Stacy, Lance, and Joey were watching from the side.� Lance reached over and put his arm around Stacy and gave her a kiss on the top of the head.
�"It's about time ya'll made up!"� Joey yelled over to them.� Him and Lance then started clapping.� Jana and Stacy joined in.� Leah and JC were slightly embarrassed neither knew they were being watched that whole time.

"OK!� Let's give them some private time."� Stacy said.

"AWWWW� I wanna watch!"� Joey said.� Jana grabbed his arm and they four walked over to the side and sat down on the couch used in the show.� Jana started to rub her neck.� "Is it still sore?"� Stacy asked concerned.

"Yeah just a little bit.� Nothing to worry about."� Jana said.

"Here let me help you with that."� Joey said standing up moving behind her and rubbing her neck.

Chris and Justin ran into Leah and JC while they were still hugging and talking.� "So ya'll finally made up???"� Justin asked.� Leah and JC just nodded.� "Well, come on we gotta go get rigged up.� Where are Lance and Joey?"

"I think they went over there."� Leah said pointing to the side.� Chris and Justin turned to look where she was pointing.� Chris saw Jana and Joey and he knew what was going on.� He had seen Joey flirting with girls before and knew that's what he was doing now.� He couldn't speak.� He didn't think about someone else going after her.� Now he knew he had to talk to her soon.

�� "Lance!� Joey!� Comeon!� We gotta go!"� Justin yelled to them.� Joey let go of Jana and him and Lance walked over to the rest of the guys.� Jana and Stacy followed.� The girls wished them all good luck and they went to get hooked up for the show.

"Hey Joey, before we get up there I need to talk to you."� Chris said.
JC, Justin, and Lance went on.

"Sure man, what is it?"� Joey asked.

"Jana's a great girl and I don't know if she feels the same way about me as I do about her but I really like her.� I noticed you two earlier and thought you were flirting with her.� I just wanted to see if you were�planning on making a move on her.� I don't wanna step over the line or anything."

"Man, Chris I didn't know you liked her like that.� I wouldn't have flirted with her if I did.� I haven't asked her out or anything.� If you like her though I'll step back."� Joey said.

"Thanx man."� Chris said and the two went to get hooked up.

***45 Minutes Later***

"This is probably one of the best concerts I've seen them do on this tour."� Stacy said.

"Yeah they are performing well this time."� Jana said still watching them.

"The next song we're going to sing is one that is very important to all of us.� This song is for all of our fans."� Lance started.� "But, there are 3 special fans.� They have become very special to us all and we'd just like to bring them out here."� Lance turned and looked to where Jana, Stacy, and Leah were standing.� They just looked back.� They were completely shocked.� They had no idea they would do this.� Chris went over and grabbed Jana, Leah, and Stacy and pulled them out.� The crowd applauded but you could hear some people upset.

"This is Stacy, Jana, and Leah."� Lance introduced them.� He grabbed Stacy's hand and whispered in her ear.� She just nodded.� "This is Stacy.� This was going to be a secret but I don't want to hind this from our fans. You guys out there make *Nsync.� But, Stacy, she makes me.� And yesterday I asked her to be my wife and luckily for me she said yes."� He looked at her and just squeezed her hand.� There was a collective awww from the crowd with a few boos of course.� Chris was standing next to Jana still holding her hand.� He squeezed it and she looked at him.� He just smiled at her and she smiled back.� She was starting to feel different about him.� Was it her imagination or did he like her too?� Some of the stage crew brought out some stools for the girls to sit on.� They sat down and the guys serenaded them with God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You.

***End of the Concert***

Leah, Jana, and Stacy listened to the guys sing Bye, Bye, Bye and then headed to the tour bus before the guys left the stage so they wouldn't be caught up in all the chaos.� The guys finished saying their goodnights and left the stage.� They had to stick around backstage for a few minutes and then headed straight for the bus.� It had been a long day for all of them and now they had to drive to Tampa.� They got to the bus and didn't see Jana, Leah, or Stacy.� They sat down and Lance yelled out for Stacy.� She came up from the back.� "Where are Jana and Leah?"� Lance asked.

"Oh, they are back there.� We were just talking in the back."� Stacy said.� Jana and Leah walked up to the front about this time and all the guys just stared.

"Leah, going for the Chris look??"� JC asked.

"Oh this?� We were talking and got bored so we figured we'd braid my hair.� I don't think I pull it off as well as Chris did though."� Leah said laughing.

"I think it's kinda cute."� Jana said looking at it again.� Everybody just laughed.� This was one look that definately wasn't Leah.

Author's Note--Happens at the same time as Chris and Jana's conversation.

The rest of the group sat up in the front of the bus talking and laughing.� They had the tv on although none of them were really paying attention to it.� They left it on MTV so they would have the background�music.� Justin and Joey were gracing the rest of the group with their burping contest when Leah saw what was coming on tv next.� She looked up and saw the begining of the Making the Video for *Nsync's song It's Gonna Be Me.� "OH MY GOSH!� Look!"� Everyone turned to look at what she was pointing at.

"Oh no we're not watching this!"� Joey said trying to turn the TV off.

"OH NO YOU DON'T!"� Leah said running to stop him.� "I missed this last night so we are watching it tonight!"� The guys groaned, but, Leah and Stacy moved closer so they could hear.� They knew the guys would be commenting on it the whole time.

***30 Minutes Later***

"I LOVED that video!"� Leah said when it was over.� "The whole thing with ya'll looking like puppets was really cool!� How long did it take to do that make-up??"

"Too long!"� Lance said.� The guys laughed thinking about how annoying that crap was.� "I think that was my favorite video to do though.� It was really kinda different."

"Did it really not hurt when you hit the shelf?"� Leah asked.� "It looked painful."

�"Nah, it wasn't bad.� Kinda stung though.� You know how it is though when�� you do your own stunts!"� Joey said getting up and doing his muscle man poses.� This had everyone laughing again.

"I wonder what's going on with Jana and Chris."� Leah said looking towards the back.

"I don't know think we should check on them?"� Stacy asked.

"YEAH!� Let's go back there!"� Justin said jumping up.� He had no idea what they were doing and it was killing him.

"No I meant should LEAH and I check on them.� So we don't disturb them too much."� Stacy said.

"Yeah lets go. YOU stay here"� Leah said pointing to Justin and laughing at his 'pitiful' face.� The girls walked back there as quietly as possible.� They quietly knocked on the back door and when they didn't hear anything they slowly opened it up.� They saw Jana and Chris cuddled up on the couch. "Stacy, go get my camera quick."� Stacy ran back up front looking for Leah's camera.

"What's going on back there?"� Justin couldn't stand not knowing.

"You've got to go see for yourself it's so sweet."� Stacy said finally finding the camera.� All the guys got up and followed her to the back.� Leah took the camera and got a couple pictures of them before her and Stacy moved out of the way to let the guys see.� "She's going to thank you for those later."� Stacy told Leah.

"I knew they would be good together!"� JC whispered.� He quietly closed the door and let them stay back there.� They all went back to the front and talked and laughed some more.� A few hours later Leah was about to pass out, she wasn't used to staying up this late, and th ey all headed to bed.� It had been a long day.

Jana woke up around 9 o'clock that morning and realized she wasn't in a bed.� She tried to turn and look around but couldn't move.� She looked down and saw arms wrapped around her.� She managed to turn her head and saw Chris looking down at her.� "Good morning."� He said smiling.� "Sleep well?"

"Better than I ever have before.� I like waking up to your smiling face."��Jana told him.� He leaned down to give her a kiss but she stopped it.� "Oh no you don't not untill I get a chance to brush my teeth!"� He laughed at her and settled for a kiss on the forehead.� She got up and stretched, he just sat there and watched her.� "What?� Do I look that bad in the morning??"

"No, you look that good."� She blushed at his comment.� "I'm going to go get a shower and get dressed."� She went out of the room to find her suitcase.� Justin and JC were still asleep in their beds and she could hear Leah, Stacy, Joey and Lance in the other room talking.� She grabbed her stuff and went in to tell them a quick good morning then she headed for the shower.

***45 minutes later***

Everyone eventually got up and they headed out for the arena where the concert would be held.� The guys went to help set everything up while the girls stayed on the bus so Jana and Leah could finish getting all of their stuff together.� Now that they were in Tampa Jana and Leah would be staying with Leah's cousin.� Her family was already down there visiting so Jana and Leah were going to ride home with them on the 26th, the day after the guys and Stacy left for New Orleans.� "I'm so not ready to leave!"� Jana said as she was putting her pajama's into her bag.

"I don't either!"� Leah said.� Both of them got quiet.

"Okay you two!� Don't start getting sad now.� We've still got today and tomorrow."� Stacy told them.

"Yeah that's true.� It's better than nothing.� Life in T-town will never be the same tho."� Jana said.

"No it never will be."� Leah said.

"I don't know what I'm going to do now.� I've gotten used to having you two around to talk to while the guys are out.� Plus the extra estrogen is always nice!"� All 3 girls laughed at this.

"We were on the bus one night, how did we manage to spread out so much???"�� Jana asked while looking for her brush.� Last she saw Chris had it pretending to brush Busta with it.� Jana freaked when she saw this, which is exactly what he wanted.

***Arena***

The crew was getting everything out of the trucks when they arrived.� After helping some with the unloading and setting up they guys broke for lunch and to discuss any changes for the night.� "Ok, enough business," Chris started� "we've gotta do something special for Jana and Leah before they leave."

"Yeah we do."� JC agreed.

"How about kidnapping them so they can't leave?"� Joey asked.� They all laughed at his statement even tho they knew he was semi-serious.�

"Don't tempt me!"� JC and Chris said in unison.� The guys continued to talk and discuss what they would do.� After lunch they practiced for about an hour and then went back to the bus.� The girls had finished packing everything up and were now sitting in the front room.� When Chris walked in the first thing he saw was Jana sitting on the couch with Busta in her lap.� Busta was asleep and she was absently petting his head.� She started to move but he stopped her.� "Hold on.� You look so perfect there let me take a picture."

"No, I look horrible!"

"No you don't you look like an angel."� He started taking pictures of her.� He got a little too close and startled Busta.� He woke up and ran off Jana's lap.� When he finally calmed down he saw Chris and ran to him.� Jana got up to finally give Chris a proper hello.� JC and Lance walked in and Stacy and Leah got up to welcome them back.

"Ummmm Chris?"� JC said.� Chris turned and put his arm around Jana's waist and she did the same to him.� "There's someone here to see you."

"Who is it?"� He said trying to think of who would have come down there to see him.

"Well, it's Heather."� JC told him.� Jana dropped her arm from around his waist.

"What's she doing here?"� He asked more to himself than anyone else.� "I'll be right back."� He turned and gave Jana a kiss on her forehead and walked out of the bus.� Jana went to the window to watch.� Everyone else stood around, not sure of what to do.� They knew this was hard for Jana.

Heather heard the bus door open and turned around.� She saw Chris and went straight to him.� She embraced him then kissed him.� When Jana saw this she ran straight to the back of the bus and shut the door.
