• Personality: Kathleen is a confident, collected woman. She does not flinch in the face of danger or hardship. She also does not worry about the hard work of life. She is a musician, actress and writer as well as a Federation marine officer.

  Usually Kathleen is easy going with a great sense of humor. She can hang out with the guys and crack jokes with the best of them. She does not take kindly to people endangering the lives of her friends, family or the underpriviledged. She loves to read, date (if there is time) and work on her skills. She comes from a medical background so can help to doctor some of the injuries the crew will most probably sustain.

• Description: Kathleen is 5'11" tall and weighs 145 lbs. She has red shoulder length hair and green eyes. Besides wearing her uniform when on duty, she likes to wear jeans, leather jackets, boots and t-shirts when off duty. She will wear a dress or "girly" outfit if necessary, but prefers more comfortable outfits for relaxing. She is not a big drinker, but has been known to drink a beer or two (or more) when out with her friends.

• History: Kathleen's mother was a doctor and her father was a soldier. She has a strong medical background and it quick thinking. She is very close with her family, especially her father. She always wanted to go into Starfleet, but settled on the Federation Marine Corp. She is very science minded and has won many awards for her scientific efforts.

  She was always a tomboy, climbing around with the boys in her neighborhood. Kathleen was a precocius child and advanced several grades in one year. Therefore, she was in college at age 14.

  She was always told that she is a very caring person and her diplomatic skills in ending school fights caught the interest of her teachers and with their help she became a champion hostage negotiator after graduation.

  Later, she left the job and entered Marine Officer's Training School at age 18. The Marine Corp sent her on to Starfleet Academy to gain advanced medical training beyond what the corp could offer. She graduated in 2375 and spent two years working in Marine Corp camps during the Dominion War, caring for injured soldiers and civilians. She then earned a posting to the USS Valkyrie, a Starfleet Shadow Operations ship which was home base to Marine Force Alpha, an elite fighting squad of marines.
