When speaking, Ducky often mixes her eloquent vocabulary with vocal sounds effects. Her most common one is a gurgly 'errp?' she uses when expressing confusion or surprise. She's filled with catch phrases such as 'that's right!', 'don't talk!', 'yippy skippy!'. She is very extroverted, outgoing almost to a fault, and she usually greets strangers with enthusiastic hugs and smiles. Ducky has a positive outlook on life, and is seemeingly joyful all the time.
Her biggest character flaw, however, is her vocality. She is the type of person that people either love to bits, or they hate her utterly. It is impossible to be apathetic towards her, because she affects everyone around her with her infectious glee. Some people find her annoying or embarassing to be around, but her typical reply is 'if they can't tolerate me, then I don't want them as a friend anyway.'
Ducky is a very vocal singer, hummer and whistler, even though she lacks any form of musical talent. She likes to dance, hopping around wherever she is, skipping instead of walking or running, and moving with exagerated motions, even though she lacks any grace as well. Some people find her embarassing to be with because of her attention drawing antics, but she herself seems immune to that particular emotion. Ducky mockingly flirts with everyone, jokingly making passes at them in the siprit of humor. She loves doing impressions, whether she can do them well or not. She is a very phsyical person, always touching other people, whether it be hugs (which she loves to hand around) or slaps up side the head (which she also loves to hand out). She always tries to like people, and she is only hostile toward people who have displayed hostility towards her. Ducky usually tries to aviod interpersonal conflicts, though, and tries to avoid people she clashes with.
Ducky is very direct, saying what she wants without regard to other peoples feelings. She doesn't try to 'sugar-coat' anything. She is insensative to other people, but she rarely takes offense to anything other people say about or to her. This is probably the biggest obstical to her socially, but her freinds soon learn that things she say may sound offending, but they know that there is no true intent to hurt in the words. She is just brutally honest.
Ducky's favorite thing to eat is beef jerky, which she laughing refers to as strips of dead cow, and she has been known to comsume large ammounts of it when idly reading or doing other stationary activities. Her favorite drink is very sweet coffee, and she says she like her coffer the same way she likes her lovers: hot, white, and sweet.
Ducky has little in the way of personal belongings, aside from a stuffed toy turtle she uses to guard her clothes and an extensive music collection. She owns a young kitten, named Fuzzy-Meow, and has an affinity to plaster smiley-face stickers all over everything - her body armor, her weapons, herself even (she's been seen sporting a blue happyface in the middle of her forehead).
She loves to tan, by natural sunlight if possible - be it planetside or through a solarium (big window on a ship or station that allows the local star's rays to penetrate), and she does her best to not have tan lines.
Ducky loves trance music, and has a collection dating from twentieth century earth. She loves listening to it very loudly, and, even though she can't dance, she will anyway. She considers herself a party animal, and she does her best to infuence other to be the same. She likes to organize social events, usually goofy things like crazy hat days. She tries to be the leader in social settings, trying to get the people around her to have fun. She is usually the first to suggest wacky stunts that take alot of nerve to do, but she finds that her being fearless can help give other people the courage to do something like wander around with their underwear on the outside of their cothes with her.
Ducky tries to see everything with a sense of humor, and can find the littlest thing in any situation to make someone smile. While she is flamboyant, she finds herself not knowing what to do when confronted with sad people. All she does is try to make them smile, and to get people to not let things that make them sad do so. She has lost touch with her family and hasn't ever really tried to get back in touch with them.
