How can you be involved???

1.  Remember to check your calendar in the Kettering Capers each week.

2.  There are at least two evening activities each month you can participate in at Kettering.  Remember to bring your parent card to get a punch.

3. Each week, teachers send home  "Home Links" Activities, published by the Michigan Department of Education.  These are activities that the student and parent do together that focus on skill learned in the classroom.  When completed the parent signs the activity and returns it to school.  Title 1 staff keeps track of the students that return their Home Links and gives the parent a punch in their card for every four activities returned.

4. Volunteer to work in your child's classroom for a day or chaperone one of the classroom field trips.

***After 13 punches on your parent card you will be invited to breakfast with Mrs. Brandau, Mrs. Tatom, & Ms. Cooley to show how much we appreciate your involvement in your child's education. Breakfast at the Marriot will be on Saturday May 1, 2003. FREE day care will be provided at Kettering during the breakfast!
