There are many apartment complexes throughout the community. This is the Village Grove Apartments located off of Harris Road.

There are many different kinds of houses in the community where our families live.

This the the Citizens Bank located on Grove Road. People use banks to cash their paychecks, make deposits into their savings accounts, and pay their bills.

There are alot of different parks that people in the community use to have picnics, play sports, fish, and even watch the fire works. This is Ford Lake where the fireworks are held each year near the 4th of July.

A variety of services are available to you in Willow Run. This is a gas station. There are many other business that provide special services that you can go to like the barber shop or hair salon.

Other business sell products that you need to survive. This is Farmer Jack located off the service drive. What kinds of products do they sell to you? Did you know that you are a consumer when you buy a product?

Ypsilanti has all kinds of resaurants. This is another example of a service. Everyone loves going to McDonalds.

The post office was opened just a few years ago. It is located off of Huron Street. This is where you go to mail letters or special packages to your friends and relatives.

There are 3 school systems in the city of Ypsilanti. This is Kettering Elementary. We are the Kettering Cougars!

Every community has a hospital. This is St. Joe's hospital. Many of our community members were born here!

There is alot of history in Ypsilanti. Did you know that many slaves escaped to freedom using the secret society of the Underground Railroad. There are many places in Ypsilanti that were stops for the slaves to rest, eat, and have shelter. This is one of the stops along the Underground Railroad.

This is the Visteon Ypsilanti Plant, they produce automotive components (car parts). We also have the General Motors palnt that makes transmissions for cars.

This is the famous water tower located off Cross Street in downtown Ypsilanti.

This is Demetrius Ypsilanti. He was a famous Greek hero. Our community is named after him. This statue is located

This is the Civics Center. This is where the police department is located. The courts for our community are also located here as well as the mayor and city council.

This is Eastern Michigan University. Many teachers when to EMU to get their teacher training!
