While visiting with Mom and Dad we spent a night at the cottage in Port Dover, Ontario located on Lake Erie. Dad took us out on the lake for a ride in his boat. We had a ball!!! We had dinner at the ? restaurant and then stopped into an icecream parlor for dessert. The town was very quiet and pretty. A perfect place to go for a Sunday drive or spend a weekend.
We bought a Land Rover Discovery in the fall of 2002. Dad found it for us in Ontario so we flew up there on a weekend to drive it back to Houston. We flew into Buffalo, New York. Mom and Dad were there to meet us. We spent a night with them in Burlington and then they brought us back to Buffalo to pick up the vehicle so we could be on our way. On the drive to Buffalo we stopped at Niagara Falls for a visit. Everyone else had been there before but this was my first time. We then stopped in for lunch at an Italian restaurant in Buffalo before hitting the road.
