No Apologies
Perhaps my pro-life
Poems sound
Or read
As if to force
A moral.
But this
Is how I feel,
No apologies.
And I don’t care
Who’s offended,
Or who’s disturbed,
When I call abortion
Nothing less than
Murder.
Reader, if you
Are pro-life,
You feel the same.
However,
If you are pro-choice,
You are offended,
And I don’t care.
No apologies.
If you want freedom
To spread your legs
Be responsible
Raise the baby
If you were raped,
Prosecute the man
Who did the deed,
Don’t persecute
The innocent child
If you’re too young
To have a baby
You’re too young
To have sex
And I don’t care who
I offend
Saying all of this
No apologies
Abortion
In the case of
A child who
Will die anyway
Is like shooting a man
Who will die
Because he jumped
From a tall building
Still murder
Thousands of couples
Waiting to adopt
And here’s a scary thought
Teens who abort
Are twice as likely
To commit suicide
As those who don’t
Offended by the facts?
I don’t care.
No apologies.
Something scarier
Planned Parenthood
Breaks the law
By not reporting rape
By not reporting incest
By not reporting abortions
They perform on minors
Offended by the facts?
I don’t care.
No apologies
That little pill?
That shot?
That ring?
They stop ovulation, yes,
But they change the
Lining of the cervix
Increasing your chance
Of cervical cancer.
They change the lining
Of the womb
So if an egg gets though
And is fertilized
It can’t attach,
Causing a chemical abortion
Offended by the facts?
I don’t care.
No apologies.
